Heard of him? Probably not, because there seems to be an almost complete news blackout about him. Basically the police handcuffed him and let him bleed out because they thought he may have said something racist - he didn't, it was a lie told by his murderer. Henry was 18.

I have read the judgement @Noodledog. It says knives over 9 inches are not allowed. The knife used was way longer.
The Nihang Sikh blade is not required, but an item of fashion.
The blade must be concealed under clothing.

Digwa contravened all this.

Why did the judge put those remarks in? He must know about it having been in court.

It was a terrible case and the police made some awful mistakes.

BUT we don't know whether he did or didn't racially abuse the killer.

We just know there was no evidence that he did - I understand the police were sufficiently concerned that he was racist that they looked through his phone for any evidence of racism.

If he had been racist then there could be a case of self defence.

But we will never know the truth.

None of this excuses the police for appalling incompetence.

That's the most disgusting post I've seen for a while.

Racism itself isn't even illegal and certainly doesn't justify summary execution.

Look up real laws and don't rely on some hate filled fantasy you've cooked up in your dingy basement.

The judge clearly says the knife was acceptable. I'm not sure how you could read the judgement and not understand that- the judge makes it as clear as anyone could possibly make it. The fact that MSM has managed to report things that are clearly not true is worrying in itself.

Because Digwa argued he was required to carry a bloody great machete!

And Henry wasn’t racist, it was a lie by the perpetrator.

The judge doesn’t know the law and thought ok I won’t measure if it’s over 9 inches because the perpetrator has said this?

We shd probably stop arguing over the judgement. We are not going to agree.

The Sikh community has said that large knives should be outlawed and only small 3 inch blades allowed. Carrying a 21 inch blade cannot be defended. Some have suggested wooden or plastic blades which seems a good compromise that many are already using.

Fixydodah · Today 10:20

Even if he was a racist, which has been disproved, the actions taken by the police that night are inexcusable. The actions taken by the murderer’s wider family are inexcusable. Racism is not a top trump.

I’m interested, what you’re saying means the judge got it wrong, do you think he has that point of law wrong as that’s a pretty big deal if so.

I do agree. A clearly injured man should be attended to first. Racist alllegations later. Racism is not fatal.

Henry was not racist, of course.

I hope the report is released soon.

Exactly. Even people who commit horrific crimes receive medical attention as a priority.

The judge's remarks clearly contradict both of your assertions, and I'm not sure why you keep repeating things that you must know are not true.

The judge says this about the large knife:

"You are a member of an order of Sikhs called the Nihang who have a tradition of having a second knife, or kirpan, and that is often fully visible, believing that the guru will look favourably on that".

Btw I've seen the claims about the knife being 21 inches long and therefore illegal- if that is true than someone really should have pointed it out to the judge, as he seems to have missed it.

Why is carrying a blade to work a thing? This is the murderer at work (image lifted from X), just a normal day, with my dagger. It’s an accountancy firm. There is absolutely no reason to be wearing that.

If this is real, I don't think that should be allowed. It's huge and alarming.
He's taken advantage, the psycho.

He probably loved the sense of power it gave him.

This is EDI gone mad.

It’s plain to see the real problem when our prime minister who was then the of leader of opposition was on his knees for a black career criminal in a different country yet has still failed to make a statement about Henry. It will happen later today apparently

Honestly Statmer is such an idiot, he'll do this face😲😲😲 when Reform do well in the polls after this.

RonniePickering · Today 10:31

Looks like he’s been waiting for an opportunity to use his dagger.

As a black woman married to a white man
I have personally seen the way police assume that my husband is racist because of the colour of his skin and the way he looks

Really hurts their stupid heads when he’s said to the police ask my wife if I’m racist

it’s definitely a thing within the police force to assume person of colour crying “racist” is automatically believed over a white person

the police force definitely have 2 tier policing and I can’t imagine why anyone especially a woman would want to be part of such a vile corrupt and misogynistic employee

Sigh. Because X has many fake AI images. Someone once made a fake image of me!
Maybe it's real. I don't know. What's clear is he was a violent man.

Exactly.

'was not believed because he was white'

And the family were believed, without question, because they were not white.

Yep as a black woman married to a white nan I’ve seen this happen several times over the years

the police are so scared of being called racist they ignore common sense

It is being presented all over X that it is him, but I have seen elsewhere it is his brother. Whoever it is, why are they allowed to carry a blade around like that? Religion should not be a reason for carrying weapons in public. It is not even discreet.
