... and so over the next week or so, I'll be bringing you scenes of everything that's going on. Today there are several people jogging in the park. Preston is out for his morning run.

Thank you all! I'm hoping to do some kind of beach themed event later in the summer, so if you have any ideas for that they'd be very welcome! Smile

I love a beach - perhaps some crabbing, surfing lessons (lots of scope for falling over) and donkey rides?

Londonmummy66 · 31/05/2026 18:16

Pressed too soon - and teenagers unleashed after exams having a midnight bonfire and rave and the beach.....

SoMuchToBits · 31/05/2026 18:19

I do have crabs (if you'll pardon the expression!) but no crabbing lines. Surfers no problem. I only have one donkey, but could do pony rides, as have 3 ponies now! Certainly bonfire on beach/beach BBQ...

Thank you SoMuch this thread was a welcome addition to half term. I'm giving some thought to the antics that go on on my local beach in the summer evenings and will let you know.

ChessieFL · 31/05/2026 20:20

Beach volleyball!

SoMuchToBits · 31/05/2026 20:27

Can definitely do beach volleyball - we still have the set which came out in 2012 for the Olympics then! Smile

Also, I'm very pleased that so many people liked the final picnic scene. The set with Lord Zachariah Fortescue etc was a bit of a late purchase! So I didn't have much time to set the scenes up yesterday! But it was so worth getting a set with a posh baby carriage, a swan and cygnets, another pony and a grey poodle!

And I realised that lots of people felt very sorry for Hercules after his agility course, so thought it would be great to end on a happy note for him! So I hope you all enjoyed that last scene, hastily created yesterday! Smile

I loved Apollo, the blue wine, Hercules saving the teddy, and Lord Zachariah/ Lady Wilhelmina picnicking in their crowns! My favourite scenes were the picnic and the dog agility. Thank you @SoMuchToBits

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 01/06/2026 09:39

I loved the picnic scene with the Fortescue Family and Hercules coming to the rescue!

SoMuchToBits · 01/06/2026 14:08

Thank you everyone! Smile

It's his turn to shoot at goal.

Someone in red taking a shot and missing- something that brought joy to many in Paris on Saturday evening!

Thank you again OP for all of this thread.

SoMuchToBits · 01/06/2026 20:05

Haha @LlynTegid I don't even follow the football at all, so that wasn't intentional. But thank you! Smile

Had left this thread open and finally got round to going through it properly, as always a fabulous effort @SoMuchToBits

Especially liked the playground, what an awesome set of equipment they had. I also had the horse rocker when I was younger! Also the horses are so detailed now compared to the 90s and all those different ice creams 😍

Chiara's piggy top is sweet

Also loved the dog agility

What are the playmo people likely to get up to next? A playmo Wimbledon? A playmo Silverstone grand prix or a world Cup?

SoMuchToBits · 03/06/2026 08:02

Thank you @PlumpHobbit ! Maybe something with a beach theme next... Smile

@SoMuchToBits apparently Playmobil currently have 25% off selected sets on their website 😉

SoMuchToBits · 11/06/2026 20:48

Thanks @PlumpHobbit , unfortunately none of the sets I'm after. However I may have spotted a couple of discontinued sets on ebay a few days ago (which I have been wanting for a loooong time!) so am eagerly awaiting the postman tomorrow! Grin

Thank you for the Spring interlude @SoMuchToBits. Look forward to your next Playmo thread!

SoMuchToBits · 14/06/2026 20:53

Thanks @LIZS !

And who doesn't need a burger shop and a water park changing rooms?

Look forward to seeing them appear in future threads!
(And I’ve discovered another parent who covets their now adult children’s Playmobil!)

SoMuchToBits · 14/06/2026 22:15

They will certainly appear in the future @LIZS ! And great to hear of another Playmo enthusiast! Smile
