It's Springtime in Eastgate Park for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so over the next week or so, I'll be bringing you scenes of everything that's going on. Today there are several people jogging in the park. Preston is out for his morning run.

Jerzy is driving the lorry. He lifts up the bin and swings it over the lorry.

He releases the glass into the lorry.

He's off to the next job now.

Lindiwe has brought her paper and card for recycling.

She puts her old newspapers and magazines in the paper bank.

Her bag is a bit lighter now!

Masaki has brought some cans for recycling.

He places them in the can bank.

Priya has brought along some tetrapaks.

She puts them in the appropriate bin.

That's another job done!

There is a handy portaloo at the recycling centre. Marcello visits it while on his lunch break.

It’s good they are out jogging before the temperature rises too much! The path will get too hot for Zeus’s paws.

He's pleased to see that it's spotlessly clean!

Lawrence and Lester arrive to empty the can bank.

I'm enjoying this too much😂

Lawrence attaches the bin to the truck.

And empties the contents into it.

In another area of the park, the maintenance crew are busy. Varun is out with the roadsweeper.

Britt arrives with her maintenance truck.

She stops to have a chat with Varun before getting on with her jobs.

This bin needs emptying.

She tips the rubbish into a sack which she will put onto the truck to take away.

There is some horse dung on the road.
