It's Springtime in Eastgate Park for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so over the next week or so, I'll be bringing you scenes of everything that's going on. Today there are several people jogging in the park. Preston is out for his morning run.

Today there are some people having a game of basketball. Dante shoots at the goal.

It drops through the hoop!

Dalton is bouncing the ball along the ground.

It's his turn to shoot at goal.

He just misses.

The ball drops to the ground.

Ray now has the ball.

It's a goal!

Tremaine high fives him!

They've all had a great game of basketball.

Eastgate Park is great place for a picnic. Jamal, Tegan and Samira arrive for their picnic on horseback with their dog Scout. Jamal's horse is called Bravura, Tegan's horse is Mountain Thyme, and Samira's little pony is Tico-Tico.

They find a nice spot for their picnic near a pond, where the dog and horses can have a drink.

Jamal takes off his rucksack to get out all the picnic things.

They all have some sandwiches. They have a very nice gingham tablecloth!

Tegan pours the tea from the flask.

They all tuck in to their food.

Next they have some bananas.

Then there are some delicious cupcakes!

Jamal makes sure the horses are fed too.

Tegan picks an apple from the tree...

...and Samira gives it to her pony.

They are ready to set off again...

...but before they leave they take a look at the ducks on the pond...

...and the squirrels in the trees.

Stephen and Donna are in the park having a picnic with their children Barnaby, Maisie and Rollo, and grandad Frederick. Stephen has been to the food truck to buy them all hot dogs.
