I love these types of threads as I feel I need some accountability as I’m dieting currently and also I’m nosey and like seeing what others have.

greek yogurt,mango and strawberries with a little bit of granola

mixed salad,avocado,spicy beetroot and leftover chicken tikka

will have -
homemade pasta bolognaise
mixed salad

Blueberries, kefir, prunes, flaxseeds and almonds for breakfast. Cup of Rooibois tea.

Roll mop, 2 Ryvita with butter, cherry tomatoes for lunch.

leftover cucumber raita with peanuts and another Ryvita for a snack with a cup of tea.

prawn salad for dinner with a mini Green and Blacks and a cup of tea

Bloody starving so just had a slice of Cheddar on yet another Ryvita with peanuts and another cup of tea.

Porridge with banana
School roast dinner
about 8 pieces of Biscoff Dairy milk
Carrot and coriander soup, piece of sourdough bread, cheddar (about 25g)
Third of a tub of kefir

I am 53, job has become more sedendary and my appetite has decreased a lot. I also seem to have developed acid reflux in the last 6 months so the reason I measured the cheese was because it was fatty and I knew I couldn't eat much of it without giving me indigestion. Before menopause I was able to eat what I wanted all my life and never had either any weight or stomach issues so never counted calories at all. It's weird to be satisfied with soup and a slice of bread in the evening as a meal. Now I'm checking calories to check that I'm taking in enough!

Not surprised you're starving, sounds very restrictive in the way of calories.

I put on so much weight recently as the result of a fractured ankle which kept me immobile for weeks so am seriously trying to lose it - but I normally have a lot more protein. Today was one of those busy chaotic days where I just had to put what was in the cupboard in my mouth!

Iced coffee x2, 2 slices of soreen, 4 digestive biscuits, a bowl of fruit and fibre and a couple of sweet potato fries. Very random selection.

bacon baguette for breakfast
no lunch but did have salt and vinegar crisps
some teddy grahams and nutella
a piece of baguette with garlic and herb Philadelphia
a can of cherry coke
2 pints of orange squash
some rubicon vit water
actual water
Mediterranean chicken with peppers, carrots, sweetcorn and onion with rice
mint cornetto…

i generally eat much better but am of on holiday tomorrow so the fridge is empty.

Protein smoothie at the gym after this mornings class
salad from canteen at work for lunch - cous cous, beetroot, corn, coleslaw, carrot salad, few potato wedges
dinner was Quorn chicken nuggets, sticky rice, few mini spring rolls, prawn crackers, Chinese curry sauce and crispy chilli oil
having a yogurt now before bed

A big bar of a chocolate. Bag of beef crisps. Two double stuffed custard creams. Bowl of homemade chilli (I put five types of beans in and make 20 servings in one go. Loads of veg. Loads of beans. Loads of flavour.).

lunch - cheese & pickle & salad sandwich on Jason’s sour dough bread.
Apple & satsuma. Handful of walnuts.

Snacks - pip n nut cereal bar, 2 low sugar rich tea biscuits, 3 squares of milk chocolate.

dinner - satay stir fry with pak Choi & mixed stir fry veg, tofu & cashew nuts.
matcha drink made with oat milk.
blueberry tea.
