Goat = Greatest of all time.

PumpkinsAndCoconuts · 04/05/2026 15:01

that chicken looks… interesting.

Less couscous, more beans, different kind of chicken (or protein in general) and I’d rate it a 9/10.

Words · 04/05/2026 15:03

It looks healthy but I would call’it chicken salad. I am with the chicken skin brigade. And also, definitely a dressing.

SingedSoul · 04/05/2026 15:10

Westfacing · 04/05/2026 14:15

I’ll give it an eight for content as it’s similar to mine!

i think you’ve got the message on the presentation of the chicken 😄

9.9

Bristolandlazy · 04/05/2026 15:10

0/10 boring salad, I dislike bean salad and couscous, that chicken looks very unappealing.

hellospring26 · 04/05/2026 15:17

0 - sorry but that chicken looks horrible.

patooties · 04/05/2026 15:17

I’ve just had chicken (roasted, it did NOT look like that thankfully!) with home made potato salad, chickpea and feta salad, bean salad, salad salad bd bread. With strawberries and raspberries and cream for pudding.

banging 10/10

Twattergy · 04/05/2026 15:20

4/10. Healthy but looks like it has minimal flavour.

JustSawJohnny · 04/05/2026 15:26

Looks great...........apart from that anaemic ass chicken 😬

Thank you for the timely reminder to season the feck out of the chicken thighs we're having for dinner - and to crisp them up!

5/10 because the main component looks revolting.

OttersOnAPlane · 04/05/2026 15:28

OP, Other than the chicken it looks nice, and I am assuming a generous dressing of olive oil and lemon juice

Plate 2 looks very nice although again, I don't do meat and I love love love eggs and savoury yoghurt.

Plate 3 was very nicely presented, but again, too meaty for me.

Plate 4, the taco bowl, looked absolutely delicious. 8/10

Plate 5 looked a fun lunch if leftovers, pretty eclectic range

Plate 6 was a very aesthetically impressive chicken dinner considering I haven't eaten chicken in 40 years!

My lunch plate looked a bit dull on the outside but tasted great. Flatbread wraps are so beige-looking until you bite I to them.

It was a wrap with grilled halloumi, shredded lettuce, cucumber, avocado, cherry tomatoes, a bit of mayo and a generous dash of pomegranate hot sauce. Just what I fancied.

Eightdayz · 04/05/2026 15:42

Did you cook the chicken on the radiator?

Dr13Hadley · 04/05/2026 15:46

This was mine the other night. Only took a pic as DS wanted to see what we were having. Please ignore the Warburtons in the background!

M&S coronation chicken flatties, rice, garlic and coriander naan and homemade Sri Lankan red lentil and spinach daal.

Looks like you could bring that chicken back to life. Honestly, this looks terrible. I Would just chuck it in the bin.

Morepositivemum · 04/05/2026 16:32

Without the chicken a ten- the shape and size of the chicken makes me want to turn vegetarian tbh!!

Not sure about the saucy mince with salad... 🤔

Really? I love a spicy mince beef taco with salad and sour cream, It goes really well.

Walker1178 · 04/05/2026 16:55

One of the few food pics I have on my phone. This was the 1st meal DP ever cooked for me. Hiding under the veg was really tender lamb. For the avoidance of any doubt, I kept him!

Goat = Greatest of all time.

I do Food of the Gods which is roast potato , feta , olives , tomatoes without seeds .
I'd confuse myself with G.O.A.T. (and it sounds a bit Donald Trump ) Shock

EatingAJacketPotato · 04/05/2026 17:26

Here’s mine tonight - nhs finest - stale roll and butter, lentil soup, some type of sponge and watery custard and vanilla flavour ice cream. I’m in a side room which does have advantages but I think they keep cobbling together what ever’s left…

Looks a bit similar to what I'm having today daahl but with tandoori chicken on the side, chapati instead of naan, salad and mint yoghurt.

thetinsoldier · 04/05/2026 17:30

QwestSprout · 04/05/2026 12:22

0/10 because I'm vegetarian and don't eat salad.

So you don’t eat beans/pulses, could cous, or any salad? Doesn’t that limit your diet a tad? What do you eat?

fouroclockrock · 04/05/2026 17:42

It has ingredients that I like (except those cans of mixed beans) but done in a way that looks cold and not very tasty. Plate itself also not my cup of tea. Therefore 4.5 out of 10. But I’m giving you a separate point because its probably healthy.

YoullWishYourLifeAway · 04/05/2026 17:52

@EatingAJacketPotato I recognised that as hospital food before I even read your post. Wishing you a speedy recovery, I hope you get home soon Flowers
