Yes, I think the C word is restricted because of so much spam – either selling the thing itself or advertising items to be bought using the thing.

Posts are hidden until MNHQ can look at them manually, and then cleared if they're just real posters discussing the thing.

So the word isn't actually banned.

This is why threads often read weirdly afterwards, because if you come to them after the post has been restored then the discussion of a hidden post makes no sense!
