Schrödinger's Strait - Trump Thread #162A

1000 replies

Spandauer · 19/04/2026 14:58

The Strait of Schrödinger remains open and closed, safe and dangerous, insurable and uninsurable, blockaded and free.

"You put your tanker in, you put your tanker out
In, out, in, out, you sail it all about
You do the Straits of Hormuz and you turn around
That’s what it’s all about!"

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

Got overwhelmed by the 🍊💩's idiot fuckery last time and missed out thread #161 so have designated this one as fake #162...A

M'lud, I didn't say it, I just reposted it.

Let him tariff away.
I think it is time to show we are not scared.
He has to pay the previous tariffs back anyway.
Maybe someone realised that it is the US citizens who actually pays for the tariffs.

And I thought the H&M references were the store, no wonder I’m confused. Although these days it doesn’t take much!

Trump is highlighting the fundamental flaw in the "Global Policeman" model: when the person in charge of the rules is the one breaking them, (and resentful about even having that power!) the system loses all legitimacy.

By starting the war with Iran and then using a naval blockade to bully allies into supporting him, Trump has essentially retired the US from its role as a protector of global stability. This has created a turning point where the world is realizing two things:

Enforced "Leadership" is Fragile: As we have noted on here, the US empire is finding that raw military power is "expensive but not effective" if it doesn't have the diplomatic support of the rest of the world.

Collective Accountability: If the rest of the world (Europe, China, the Global South) works together to bypass US-led systems—like the dollar or US-controlled shipping routes—they create a world where one country can no longer dictate terms or start "illegal" wars without facing severe consequences.

A shift toward a multipolar system is arguably a more "fair" attempt at global governance, as it forces countries to negotiate and cooperate rather than simply following the orders of a single superpower. The "repercussions" the US is currently facing—global isolation, a debt crisis, and the loss of the dollar's dominance—are the world's way of finally holding the "empire" accountable.

What a cock-up he has created for the US!

So Witkoff and Kushner are off to Islamabad but JD is staying at home.

I thought Iran had said they wouldn’t talk to those two muppets?

PerkingFaintly · 24/04/2026 19:51

Sorry, I want to come back to the women's tennis team story.

I know it doesn't have the urgency of Trump and Bibi's war in Iran, but this story encapsulates so well the Trump administration's attitude to women.

A newspaper picture editor takes us through the imagery and the giveaways in the posed photo, and contrasts it with Trump's photos with eg a men's sports team.

Absolute waste of time. Crazy, power mad, gun toting, religious loonies aren't going to back down. The Iranians won't either 😏

I agree.

Putin looked like he was on his last legs a couple of years ago but he rallied round.
Murdoch is living well into his 90s
Trump keeps going god knows how with his diet and evilness.

There is a long running H&M thread on here. It's a good fun one. I post now and again. I had a look a few days back and it's candles that smell like little boys now. I kid you not. That is their latest product. Little boy scented candles.

I grimaced at the candle info, curled lip and disgust. The full works. 😬

logicisall · 24/04/2026 22:40

Sorry folks, but it's a long one. Remember how that other gangster, Al Capone was eventually caught?
A breakdown of how billions are flowing into the Trump family coffers.

https://x.com/Smart_Money/status/2047571276730929441?s=20

THE COMPLETE TRUMP LIST - HERE ARE THE BILLIONS THAT ACTUALLY FLOWED! It took me two days to compile it, because the amounts are hidden in twenty different places. Laid out side by side, you'll understand why the White House responds to every question with silence. The sources are SEC filings, blockchain data, BBC investigations, Reuters, and Bloomberg. Every single figure is publicly verifiable.

January 17, 2025. Three days before the inauguration, Trump launches his own memecoin. Two family entities (CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC) hold 80 percent of the tokens. On the second trading day, the market cap stands at 14.5 billion dollars. According to blockchain analysis, over 350 million dollars in trading fees flow to the Trump entities in just the first two weeks. Retail investors are sitting on over 85 percent losses today. The family keeps the fees.

January 19. Two days later, the Melania token arrives. Peak at 13 dollars, today 15 cents. 99 percent crash. Insiders who positioned themselves before the launch pulled out seven-figure sums. As usual, nobody knows who it was.

World Liberty Financial. The Trump family's DeFi project. 550 million dollars raised in the token sale, about 300 million of it from abroad. The family pockets 75 percent of the revenues. Justin Sun invests 75 million, and shortly after, the SEC pauses its investigation against him. Eric Trump says literally in an interview: WLFI has generated hundreds of millions for the family.

March 2025. WLFI launches the USD1 stablecoin. Within a few weeks, the market capitalization jumps to 2.2 billion dollars. MGX from Abu Dhabi processes a 2-billion-dollar investment in Binance via USD1. Pure coincidence, of course. The interest on the deposited treasuries flows to, that's right, the Trump family.

Eric and Don Jr. found American Bitcoin, a mining firm. Taken public via SPAC, valuation in the billions. At the same time, Trump signs an executive order for the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Mining stocks rally immediately. Bitcoin surges to new all-time highs. The family holds mining stakes, treasury positions, and policy levers all at once.

Trump Media & Technology. Trump holds 53 percent. In the fall of 2025, DJT announces a crypto strategy with over 2 billion dollars in Bitcoin treasury. Bitcoin stands above 100,000 dollars, the stock pumps double-digit percentages, Trump's paper wealth jumps by hundreds of millions. Nobody outside the family knew in advance.

The BBC has documented five pre-announcement patterns. Oil futures 580 million before the Iran pause. S&P futures 1.5 billion before the Iran post. Ceasefire trades 950 million. Hormuz opening 760 million. Tariff pause in April over 900 million in overnight bets. Added up, that's over 4 billion dollars in positions placed minutes before Trump tweets. 100 percent hit rate. Don Jr. sits on the advisory board of Polymarket. At the same time, strategic advisor at Kalshi. The two platforms where the anomalous bets are running. The family earns from the platform fees, while wallets score ten out of ten hits.

SEC halts the Binance lawsuit, and shortly after, Binance uses USD1. The Genius Act legalizes stablecoin yields, directly benefiting USD1. The Crypto Task Force is led by David Sacks, a Trump donor. Every policy decision since January 2025 lands as cash flow somewhere in the family. The total bill. At least 1 to 2 billion in realized cash revenues from memecoin fees, WLFI sales, and platform stakes. Plus 4 to 5 billion in anomalous pre-event trades, which formally can't be pinned to anyone, but land in accounts that always seem to get the tip-off at the right moment. Plus double-digit billions in paper wealth from DJT and crypto holdings. All publicly documented, all backed by deal chains and timestamps.

If you get a tip from your cousin in Frankfurt and bet 2,000 euros on BASF, you're in court. If billions are shifted from the Oval Office ahead of war decisions, it becomes a BBC report with the word "notable."

The STOCK Act has banned exactly these deals since 2012. Zero proceedings. Zero convictions. The system works as designed—just not for you. Six billion dollars in cash and paper gains within 15 months. And nobody's going to jail. Remember that number next time someone explains how regulation in this country prevents unjust enrichment.

Yes. It's an odd one.

Trump’s Justice Department is bringing back firing squads for federal executions | CNN Politics

Reminds me of "another thread" a few weeks ago, where a poster kept going on about Iran killing/executing protestors. An abhorrent thing. When I tried to get that posters views on the death penalty in general, what crimes should it be applied to, said poster became very evasive. For me it's simple and easy to say. I am against the death penalty full stop.

From that CNN article: “The prior administration failed in its duty to protect the American people by refusing to pursue and carry out the ultimate punishment against the most dangerous criminals, including terrorists, child murderers, and cop killers,” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement Friday. “Under President Trump’s leadership, the Department of Justice is once again enforcing the law and standing with victims.”

" including terrorists". Right at the top of the list. And he is saying this after Turd boasted about sending arms to Iranian protestors (via Kurds) AND having CIA operatives in Iran doing disinformation campaigns (pilots rescue). The lack of self awareness is shocking.

ICE kill US citizens. The story suggested is "paid agitators". Iran kills Iranian citizens with the same claim... bomb them.

And he pardoned them and released them from prison.

Jeanine Pirro drops criminal probe of Jerome Powell | CNN Business

"On Tuesday, Trump suggested that Powell was profiting from the renovations. “I can’t imagine that ‘Too Late’ is taking money on construction. I can’t. But it’s possible,” he said, using his nickname for the head of the central bank. “But we have to find out.”"

Reading through this article, one word bangs to mind. Balls. As in Ballsroom.

Corruption is an interesting feature of Authoritarian governments. It really is a requirement for any regime to stay in power. For top down systems it is instant purge on tap, if and when needed.

So this is good news. It shows Turd has not managed to build his top down system yet.
