I have a couple of friends who pay cash because they disagree with society becoming cashless.

I've also reverted to using cash in an attempt to take better control of my spending.

@CaptainMyCaptain You are welcome in my shop - I never said ANYWHERE that all boomers pay with cash. Lots of older people are definitely moving with the times ie paying by watch or phone.... or just a usual fiver or tenner - whatever.

Think you have it hard now, just be thankful you didn't live in the days of £.s.d. You'd never have managed with 20 shillings to the pound and 12 pence to the shilling. And that's before we get started on Guineas.

Well, no. It can be as late as being born in ‘63/64. So early 60s. You could just about squeeze both a parent their child into the range, if the parent was born in ‘45 and the child in ‘63.
