He Has No Deal, He Has No Dice - Trump Thread #162

Old enough to remember whole years in which I barely thought about the American president.

Unless, he is seeing something different?

Some strange folk on X definitely see it differently:
He didn’t post it.
It’s obviously not Jesus as he’s not all in white.
The original he posted had a nurse in it and no demons, just soldiers but someone changed it to be horrible.
He knows his role is to usher in the Anti Christ for the end of times (I don’t even get this).

Someone else said he did post it with the demons as everyone knows he worships Baal.

I like some of the memes but some of it - crazy town.

Terrribletwos · 13/04/2026 18:47

Well, Trump is completely off his rocker, is being manipulated, having deep fake posts made against him or all 3?

It is possible, I suppose, that other agents, knowing he is unstable, are exploiting this and " going for gold" and absolutely using this with AI etc.

I wonder what people close to him are doing, to capitalise on this ?

logicisall · 13/04/2026 18:51

MushMonster · 13/04/2026 18:39

Are they?
I know Khameine spent quite a bit of time in Europe during his exile from Iran, but I did not know that the newer generation of the Islamic Republic had been here?
Though, with the diplomats, quite likely they spent some time in the London Embassy. Though said Embassy was closed for a few years following some major security issues, in 2011. I would be surprised if they were educated here.

I wouldn't be surprised if several of them didn't start at boarding school in England. Persia and UK had quite close ties.

A bit like how the Chinese elite are sending their kids to Swiss & UK boarding school/top US uni etc.

Remember the poor souls at Jonestown killed themselves rather than be shown to be wrong.

England. Persia and UK had quite close ties.

Englands ties to Persia go way back when. Elizabeth I was keen on befriending the Ottomans. Who presumably were using the mosque in London at the time ?

Fake news?

Terrribletwos · 13/04/2026 19:01

What is Baal?

AcrossthePond55 · 13/04/2026 19:11

According to CNN, Trump said he did post it, but he thought it was 'him as a doctor'.

(posting quickly before catching up on recent posts, this may have been said)

What is Baal?

So Trump himself says he did post it but it was in the belief he was depicted as a dr healing folk - as that’s what he does actually, heal folk (his words) - so the news companies or whomever pretending it was of him as Jesus is just fake news he said - he’s no idea where they got that from the image!

There’s a thread on X (probably loads) where people are commenting about the image and they were the comments I listed - this is what X users think, not necessarily Trump.

Baal was just one of many gods initially I think - way back in the times of the Old Testament. He sort of ended up being the main representative of all the alternative deities to God in the OT - those that shouldn’t be worshipped, ‘false idols’, and so was at odds with God. Baal depicts, or is depicted as, evil to Christians - like a demon. It’s said he did child sacrifice - but they probably all did back then, but maybe God stopped it.

Basically he’s a child sacrificing demon now - but someone may correct the detail of this that I think I knew!

I can see why some will think he’s a more appropriate deity for the orange man though!

I think that may be the point of the Abraham and Isaac story: that God demanded Abraham slaughter his first-born, and then rescinded his order at the last moment.

I don't remember him in any religious instruction I had but thanks for the info

That is far too far back!
I have been in UK since 2004- 2005 and I get the gist these two countries do jot trust each other.....

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 13/04/2026 19:48

Baal, which originally just means "owner" or "boss" ("lord", and in modern Hebrew "husband"), got applied in a derogatory sort of way to various gods in the area who were not Jehovah, and then to one very important one who was worshiped all over the places where the Phoenicians went. Elijah was very anti-Baal, I seem to remember.

Raised as a US Southern Baptist I can remember our preacher shouting about Baal whenever he wanted to call something 'evil' or preach about putting something above God.

The Love of money is Baal, liquor is Baal, the Pope is Baal, etc. You get the drift. So pretty much any of the more US Evangelical churches would 'get' a reference to Baal = idol worship.

Why oh why couldn't we have been raised in our dad's Episcopalian faith.

Well I was schooled mainly in the 70s - so we did quite different RE I think back in the dark ages, as my grandkids think I was ha!

We did bits of the OT for sure at secondary and probably more NT at primary - well I like to think they didn’t scare us with those OT horrors at that age anyhow!

We only touched very briefly on other faiths, and didn’t have moral discussions on stuff like I think they do now - literally studying the Bible - although perhaps other schools did it a bit differently.

I’ve only ever attended staid churches and only as a kid, apart from events/visits - but I definitely recall Baal associated with alcohol and women now you’ve mentioned it - can’t specifically remember where/when but probably in school - maybe Elijah study as someone said.

Forgot to add that Baal sounds right up Trump’s street - perhaps his Bible does have secret messaging in for him 👀 - joking - the second bit!

Ah, thanks for that. Baal was not a fugure in my protestant church..never heard of him. Different bibles?

Terrribletwos · 13/04/2026 20:08

And, I just noticed now, the Pope is Baal, that sounds quite extreme?

Llttledrummergirl · 13/04/2026 20:12

I prefer healers who work in the NHS for many years and then return home to hopefully become the health minister
and can dance like this
https://www.instagram.com/reels/DXEX5V2jMBG/

Love it! Better than Gove’s Dad raving we’ve been subjected to in the past here. Though can’t say I look at Streeting and think I’d like to see him dancing either. Obviously, I can’t count Trump’s twitching to YMCA as dancing - it makes me feel faintly ill!

Love mainly that he just embodies happiness for the win.

Well that leads to Carthage, Dido, Aeneas and Rome ....
