Can anybody decipher this? It's on the back of an old painting and we have no idea what it says.

Old fashioned Chemist? They used to have to read indecipherable Doctors' handwriting!

I have looked at the best images with a magnifying glass and I really don't think it's English but although it bears some likeness to Dutch with which I am familiar I'm sorry not to be able to translate it! 🙄

I think the second bit says 'Don't let slip'.
