What song did you walk down the aisle to?

My DD is getting married next year and we have been discussing songs for her to walk down the aisle to.

She is quite 'alternative' and not at all 'soppy' (her words not mine!) and doesn't want anything too lovey dovey.

So what did you chose and why? I may get some sneaky good ideas for her 😜

For reference when I married my DH I walked down to Chaka Khan 'Love Me Still'

Walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years sung beautifully by a choir, and we were piped back up to Mairi’s Wedding.

My friend had Madonna’s Crazy For You on the piano.

A friend had "your my best friend" by an Irish folk group, which was really endearing.

No idea. Our selected music “didn’t work” on the CD player, so we just had some random classical music. It made no difference to be honest.

We took a bit of getting to the marriage 14 years. He was more in love but didn’t want the marriage bit and I was less in love but did want the commitment.

Got married in a Catholic Church so some religious music played on the organ.

I really like this. I think I like this more than the piano version. I love both though. I have linked these to my DD to see. I think its a great idea.

Her and her fiance are both into fantasy/goth/rock type stuff so this would be lovely.

I had the same song as Phoebe in Friends, she had steel drums played, I wanted a recording of it done it guitar. My late step dad spent hours listening the same song on uTube to find a musician that didn't rub the strings as they played
