I thought they’d initially said they would only accept Chinese Yuan. And providing it isn’t a US or Israeli ship.

Trump says Iran is allowing some oil tankers through strait of Hormuz as a sign of good faith for talks.
He said that Iran allowed 10 oil tankers to pass through the strategic strait as a “present” to show it was serious about negotiations to end the war.
Trump told reporters:
[Iran said] we’re going to let you have eight boats of oil, eight boats, eight big boats of oil. This was two days ago. And they’ll sail up tomorrow. That was three days ago. And I didn’t think much about it.
And then I watched the news and they said, a very good anchor actually happened to be Fox. But I watched it and they said, something’s unusual happening. There are eight boats that are going right up the middle of the strait.
Eight big tankers are going loaded up with oil right through. And I said, well, I guess I guess they were right. And they were they were real. And I think they were Pakistani flagged. And, I said, well, I guess we’re dealing with the right people.
And actually they then apologized for something they said, and they said, we’re going to send two more boats. And we ended up being ten boats. (Guardian)

I listened to what he was saying rather than reading the transcript, and I think he tried, and failed, to say "island". He couldn't remember the name of the island he was talking about, that much was obvious, but I don't think he thought it was called "Ireland". Hence the blether about it being famous and the UK not wanting to give it to him; he was trying and failing to explain coherently which island he meant.

He did mispronounce the first island as Ireland which made him pause and made the fact he’d clearly forgotten the name of the island he was talking about. He may have got away with it if it weren’t for that.

If Britain and NATO are doing fuck all, then why are we allowing this monstrosity so fly so low over my house yesterday that it shook?

I hope it all gets resolved properly but my first thought was talks with who - Netanyahu? Putin? Ex allies?

I have no clue how they all go about it, but I have to wonder what the talks are discussing - who is to cede what to whom. I am obviously in the dark about Trump’s aim or reason and so his proposed outcomes - but he currently seems to be talking of nuclear capacity and guess it may be this to be discussed - but this was solved in June 25 and again just now militarily (apparently anyway) so seems a bit pointless. I guess Iran have got to ‘promise’ some checks or not mining something perhaps.

This though too seems pointless as they were talking when the US attacked, the US have stopped the potential forever anyhow apparently, and both sides seem to tell porkie pies - I just can’t see any agreement being worth the Truth Social post it’s types on - and not just because Iran is a rogue state.

Though it’s all so awful it fascinates me how Israel track and eliminate individuals so specifically in places so far away - how do they do this? Sadly too that despite all the bombing there seem to be many more people and places to destroy - when is it enough.

Different type of ammo. They are short of defensive ammo. The anti missile and drone stuff. They have no lack at all of conventional bombs that would be used against power plants.

I think with the power plants someone got him to listen. That it might be a war crime, and that it will not diminish their ability to keep the SoH closed and keep firing missiles. Nor will it significantly affect their ability to make missiles and drones because it is not energy intensive, so can be run off generators.

I can't remember the name for it, but Mao developed a system back in the day where arms factories were split up and hidden in the mountains. So if attacked or invaded, there was no massive single factories to be knocked out.
