I do find the jokes around alcoholism quite distasteful. Many many people have a problem with alcohol, not all of them are vain narcissistic arseholes who take joy in killing innocents.

I don't know... I am the widow of an alcoholic and I can testify that when my husband dove into the bottle, he became a very different person. The only lovely alcoholic I know is 15 years sober. Come to the alcohol board where the support threads are and you'll see that the vast majority of alcoholic are deeply awful people.

Recovery changes that for many, but I doubt Hegseth is anywhere near that.

Apparently we have very few ships and are having to borrow one from Germany for a NATO operation next month after HMS Dragon deployed to Middle East. He even got the number of ships wrong. Very worrying. God help us if this country ever needs to defend itself.🙁
