Can’t help feeling sorry for Victoria Beckham

I’m not interested in VB at all for fame etc but even at a distance I can’t help but feel sorry for her as a mother having comments thrown about by her estranged son and his wife. Latest is the DiL saying her parents see the Beckham lad as like their son. That must be so hurtful. I can’t imagine being in that situation. The connection with your child is so deep and she seems no different in that respect so it must be awful. I hope there is a way to mend it long term.

Well, according to Brooklyn she rang him up the night before his wedding and called him ‘evil’, her and David spent the weeks leading up to the wedding demanding he hand over the rights to his name, - both personally and through the Beckhams lawyers. Then when Marc Anthony (her and David’s bestie) announced in a room full of wedding guests that the ‘most beautiful woman in the room’ would be getting up on stage she did not go up and say, ‘Oh don’t be so silly, come up here Nicola’ she stood there and made a horrified Brooklyn dance with her, and the bride ran off in tears.

The wedding DJ Fat Tony said it was horrible, because “who wants to see a young bride and groom crying on their wedding day?”

Anyway, you only have to look at the relentless articles in the mail from ‘sources’, who all, amazingly have slants of ‘evil Nicola’ and ‘poor, sad amazingly kind mother Victoria’ to know who’s behind them.

They’ve constantly proved Brooklyn right since this started, the weirdly staged, inauthentic, meticulously curated lives and photo shoots are utterly bizarre.

I feel sorry for her too OP. That doesn't mean I think Brooklyn is wrong - we simply don't know all the people and relationships involved.

But I do feel sorry for her.

Crikey that’s a LOT of mud to sling at your own mother. Whoever is telling the truth perhaps we’ll never know. I know NP has serious form, her ex, the Hadid lad is clear about her desperation for fame at any expense and says her claim to want privacy is tosh. I’m not sure the billionaire family are as pure as the driven snow either when it comes to spinning PR. I think NP will without doubt bore of her totally lacking in charisma lump of a husband and then where does that leave him? I still can’t help feeling very sorry for VB. the very thought of my son tearing me apart to the world like that is too awful to even consider. He didn’t seem to have a problem before he met the Peltzs.

The story came from an interview Nicola gave to a magazine. The DM can slant things but they can't just pluck a story from thin air whatever people think.

Her relationship with her kids is off. They are part of Brand Beckham first and foremost
I think her and David and their image conscious wY of life has had and is having detrimental mental health issues. All that pouting and posing is such a false life.

A connection with a child is really not so deep OP, not just because you gave birth to it. Seriously it isn’t.
If someone thought I had a deep connection with my mother because I was once in her uterus I’d be really pissed off.
It‘s a relationship the same as any other. I have five kids, would do anything for them, but they don’t owe me their fealty.

YANBU- VB is a mother like many of us and a human being. As a mother myself, yeah, I’d be gutted to be in her current situation, regardless of exactly what has gone on. Truly gutted.

I should think anyone is more like normal parents than the Beckhams. One brain cell between them and she is a pouting lettuce leaf. It must be so refreshing for him to meet normal people.

These days the Beckhams are only famous for being famous. More money than anyone here could shake a stick at. Who cares if she's unhappy. Never had to do a days work!

She's pimped her kids out for years, don't feel an ounce of sympathy for her.
