Can I just check that everyone puts their knickers on first?

Reading a novel, someone puts their bra on, then their knickers. This is so obviously wrong I'm not sure I can read any more. If they get this so wrong, then nothing in the novel is to be trusted! Nobody ever in the history of the universe has put on their bra before their knickers, surely?

Mygodinheaven. You put on your knickers first in case you have to answer the door then at least your downstairs is covered. I despair.

That’s what kimonos are for if you’ve had the doorbell go when you’re in the shower or bath.

Either for me but it's probably more knickers first as I rewear my bra for a couple of days and it takes me a few seconds to remember where I flung it off to the night before... But yeah, feel abit like Winnie The Pooh if I have my tuppence out while wearing something on top 😬

Nah bra first here or my ridiculous huge and saggy chest gets in the way. Was never small but breastfeeding and perimenopause have combined to create something that needs held in place before too much bending over and moving about.

If I'm wearing a nightdress it's knickers first. If its pjamas it's bra first. No idea why.
When I used to be naked in bed and not self conscious about wandering about naked, knickers. I think. I can't remember :)

Had a shower ...pants on first. Getting changed bra half first then new pants etc.. 🤷‍♀️

What can I say? I'm a woman, 61, just anazed that there is any other way than my way to dress! Learning a lot from this thread. Not liking what I'm learning, all these people dressing themselves in completely the wrong order.

Depends how droopy your boobs are. You might need them out of the way first so the don't get accidentally tucked in your knickers........🤔

But if I’m in PJs then I’ll often do bra and then deodorant and top half before doing bottom half - especially if it’s cold!

Bra and THEN deodorant ... what sort of madness is this! 😲

To answer the original question I don't have a specific order, it rather depends what comes to hand.

Exactly!!!! or in case a mad axe murderer rushes in and decapitates me. At least, that way, I know my body will be found in a relative state of decency.
