When did your DS catch up with you height wise?

How tall are you and at what age did your DS catch with you?
(Specifically DSs as they typically tend to grow taller than their mothers)

I'm 5'7 and just realised this morning that DS just turned 12 was eyeball to eyeball with me.
Older DDs are 5'9 and 5'8.

I'm 5'4" and my eldest two passed me when they were 12. My youngest is year 6 and about 4" shorter than me; his feet are now the same size as mine. Their dad is 6'4" and I am resigned to spending the rest of my life looking upward to talk to my family 😂

I’m 5’3.5”. DS is probably 5’4” and is 14.

I'm 5'8" and DS overtook me at 13. He's coming up to 5'10" at nearly 14.

DD is the same height as me and has been since 14.

I'm 5'4 and DS is pretty much the same size (was 12 in December)

Im 5ft8 and it was at some point during Y8 I think. Now Y10 he's 6ft2!

I’m 5 ft 6. My grandson is 8 and is to my chin.

Mine were about 12 but I am quite short. They seemed to have their biggest growth spurt between 12 and 13.

I’m 5’7 and from a late growing line - DS was 14 and 10 days (he had been monitoring it daily for about a month before) when he finally topped out. He’s shot up in the last 18 months and is now 6’ and a bit. His dad is 5’11 so that pleased him last time he went over to visit! I reckon his little brothers will be shorter like his step-bro as their mum is very petite.

I’m 6ft 1 and as of last week, I still had 1/2 an inch on DS14. Next week is another question though.

I'm 5'4 and he passed me age 11, but it was in secondary school. He's now 6'3.

My 15 year-old caught up to me when he was about 12. I'm 5'6', he is now 6'2" and doesn't seem like he's planning on stopping yet. my other sons are 6'4" and 5'11"

My eldest is 14 and overtook me last year. Im 5ft 11 though so he did have quite a height to reach!

I’m 5’7 - DS has been taller than me since he was 13. He’s 14.5 now and lots taller!

My son overtook me in the end of year 4 and I’m 5ft 7. In his year six graduation 🧑‍🎓 he was about a head taller than me. He’s now 6 ft 5🥰. Very handy when I need stuff up high 🤣. Little brother just turned 16 is catching up with him at 6 ft 4.

About 10 and a half I think. I am 5ft5 and DS is now 13 and 6ft. DH is 6ft4 and the shortest in his family (his brothers are 6ft5, 6ft6 and 6ft7, and his dad is 6ft8) so I still think he may have a few inches to go yet!

I’m 5ft 6 and it’s just happened that DS is now taller than me. He’ll be 15 in June so 14 and a half.

I’m 5’10” and a size 8 shoe. Both my boys caught me up in height aged 12, and in shoe size aged 10. To be fair, both were huge at birth (9lb and 10lb) and have always tracked exactly their decile in the charts in their red books! Anyone’s kids deviated wildly from the charts in the red books?

My two boys have both been quite late growers. I’m 5’10” and their dad is 6’5” so they will be tall but the older one didn’t pass my height until he was nearly 16. The younger one is currently 13 and is only about 5’6”

Honestly I think my DS is going through a very rapid growth spurt, people who have not seen him for a couple of weeks have expressed surprise and said he's shot up.

Hmm probably when he was about 13. He's now 16 and 6 foot 4, I'm only 5 foot 9 and he calls me little woman 😂 When I hug him (rare occasion) I need a step ladder.
