This is the plan. I am overwhelmed and overrun with lovely kitchen and dining items. Beautiful plates, mugs, bowls etc.
Love them all but going into my dotage the wish is to slim down belongings that no one is going to want and not leave the utter overstuffed cupboards that my mum did in her death.
Started three days ago and my plan is as one sells to add another.
Painting, mugs and jug gone already.
Anyone want to join me?
Today is a Pip trinket dish.

I’ve today had such an unpleasant experience with a seller (item I received was damaged and not as described) it’s put me off for the moment. I think I’m going to leave off listing for a little while.

I normally find that things sell on the day you list them. If you get few views or watches then it likely won't sell.

I'm selling dd trainers and footwear is hard to shift. Zero favorites on some Nikes for £3 that re uploaded yesterday so I can guarantee they won't sell

If they are in reasonable condition then childs nike trainers should be easy to sell at £3

  • Have you included photos of the inner heels and soles? These are the parts that often wear out.
  • Are they clean? I would rather pay a bit more for clean trainers than cheap dirty ones
  • If they are velcro have you shown a photo of the velcro? If this is worn out or damaged the trainers are useless
  • Are the photos taken against a clear background or against a mess? Presentation is everything and a good set of photos can make the trainers look better than they are.

There are so many childs trainers for sale that if the listing is shit people will skip on to the next one rather than ask questions..

They are washed and pristine. I took 15 pictures from.every angle too. Weirdly I sold some fabric sketchers for £5 in ten minutes.

I am intrigued as to what model and colour they are. £3 Nikes with good photos will usually sell.

Hi all
Hope you’ve had a successful selling week. Only one thing to put on today and it sold in 20 minutes.

I would hazard a guess that people think they’re fake for some reason.

I have 117 watchers on one item, and only one offer. I listed it on Wednesday, seems a bit odd. Other things I have realised I have overpriced so have hidden for now and will relist at lower prices

Thechateau · 26/04/2026 15:16

I've shifted about 30 things since I last posted which is amazing. Some I think I definitely could have got more for. I've changed tack a bit now and am listing things at higher prices and seeing what people offer. I can see I definitely won't sell as much this way, so might swing back
