This is the plan. I am overwhelmed and overrun with lovely kitchen and dining items. Beautiful plates, mugs, bowls etc.
Love them all but going into my dotage the wish is to slim down belongings that no one is going to want and not leave the utter overstuffed cupboards that my mum did in her death.
Started three days ago and my plan is as one sells to add another.
Painting, mugs and jug gone already.
Anyone want to join me?
Today is a Pip trinket dish.

I started last weekend. But uploaded a lot at once and already at £150 mine is going towards a new bike and a greenhouse.

Ohhhh a greenhouse! How lovely. Need to clear ours out.

Great idea! I’m making progress but haven’t listed anything for a few weeks - will get back on it! I’m having a Swedish death clean and loving it 😀

MooBaggage · 01/03/2026 18:37

I'm in! I get really nervous selling stuff on Vinted in case people complain they're not good enough, but the few things I have sold have gone OK so I just need to be brave 💪

Fatmumslim01 · 01/03/2026 19:07

Item uploaded this afternoon and already sold!

cherrymauve · 01/03/2026 19:51

So pleased one a day is working for us.
I am finding it very manageable and happy with my sales.
Well done everyone.

I’m just taking to charity - general decluttering. Aiming for a bin bag a week (if good enough for them to sell on - otherwise bin!)

Edited

Mines a Swedish Death Cleanse too. Told my daughter today and she was pleased.
Don’t want to be leaving loads of stuff, however lovely, behind for prosperity.
Clear the decks.

Dropped off 3 sold parcels yesterday, other items have no views so will be going to the charity shop on Monday.

CompanyOfThieves · 03/03/2026 10:49

Ooh I'd love to be in a Vinted gang! Count me in.

I would give it a bit longer than 2 weeks before sending to the charity shop though.

ringsnthings · 03/03/2026 14:41

Would love to join in..especially now my wee local shop has the lockers put in at the side just last week. Definitely a sign to get my finger out! It put me off all the trudging about to send parcels as I don't drive.

I did make a dent in the pile last year but lost my mojo so it all went to pot...everything was thrown back in the loft out the way. I do love the thought of some Swedish Death Cleaning though😊

OrigamiOwls · 03/03/2026 16:41

I listed an Emma Bridgewater teatray and it sold within 90 seconds...bugger to package for posting tho 😂

No interest in the jeans as yet.

cherrymauve · 03/03/2026 16:56

Welcome all. I just put a Pip Studio bowl on and it sold in 2 minutes. Pleased with that .
That’s today’s item sold.
How are you all getting on?

I’ve done a big declutter and need to sort through once I’ve done the final cupboard and see what’s for vinted, the local donation hub, freecycle or olio etc. and get on with processing it.

I got into Vinted really late so probably the third-quarter of last year I made £1000 ready for Christmas. My aim this year was to make £50 a month but I had an accident so I’ve done absolutely nothing so far. Hoping to start again soon. Last year it was mainly clothes but this year it’s just going to be a full Declutter ready for moving. Interesting about the pip studio bowl because I have a full pip studio Teaset including teapot, sugar bowl, milk jugs And I think either six or eight tea cups and sauces. All unused. Wouldn’t have a clue what I could sell such a thing for though. And I think I’ll probably be quite nervous packing it all up for sending.

stayathomegardener · 03/03/2026 18:03

I have a pending Vinted balance of 81.30.

And £20.50 also pending on ebay with two auctions due to complete tonight.

Very pleased with that.

Lostand44 · 03/03/2026 18:33

I have uploaded 7 items over the past few days - 1 item sold today £7

Not much but it’s a start!

MooBaggage · 03/03/2026 20:46

I've sold 4 things so far - all clothes. One's in the post and 3 are getting posted tomorrow! 2 x pairs of jeans are still unsold and I'm getting the Vinted bug, so am going to see if I can find more things to photograph and upload tomorrow 😀

I’m never sure about prices, I don’t find the guide prices help sometimes.

What is lovely is just seeing it gone!

You could sell one of two pieces at a time of the Pip teaser. Then it won’t overwhelm you.

I sell on the low side as it’s sold quickly then.

We are all doing so well!
Two to post this morning, one to put on Vinted.
Finding it satisfying.

I don’t suppose your Pip tea set is the love birds one is it?

nicky2512 · 04/03/2026 09:04

I’m joining in too! Thank you for the motivation. Ds lost a lot of weight last year and I’ve stuff of his and lots of dds barely worn and discarded clothes.
I put too much on last time I tried it and was overwhelmed so going to join with the one or two items at a time, priced low to sell. I’m not in the best of health and I need to declutter.

NeedWineNow · 04/03/2026 09:20

Ooh can I join in? I’ve bought from Vinted and EBay but never sold. Going through my wardrobe I’ve got so much stuff that is taking up space that I really could do with clearing out, and that’s without all the home stuff up in the loft room. I’m very good at taking things to the charity shop but thought I’d try and make a little bit of money.

readingismycardio · 04/03/2026 09:20

Yes!!!! I sold a lot on vinted and i’m pretty proud. Now I’ve listed my toddler’s baby toys and I’ve sold 8 yesterday and one today so far!
