Just being nosey!
£152 weekly shop in Tesco
£129 DS’s main birthday present
£25 soft play
Was going to stock up on my skincare (been substituting with cheap stuff for a few months) this evening but feel like I might need to hold that off now.

In case you meant the other way, I get M&S vouchers as a form of cash back on my M&S Mastercard.

Mirrorxxx · 01/02/2026 17:41

Justgorgeous · 01/02/2026 17:46

It cannot just be me who’s unable to see even one ‘popstar’ spending summary?! 😂

eta also I’m afraid not @BrickBiscuit but I commiserate with the feeling of having nothing to show for that big transfer to good ol’ HMRC!

Edited

you are quoting my comment. I didnt think haircuts worth hundreds of pounds and flights were something most people can afford in the same month. It made me think of a popstar

Isekaied · 01/02/2026 17:52

£108- online holland and barrett vitamins

£60- karate- and grading fees x2

Did anyone say or even imply that they do spend hundreds on haircuts and flights every month?

Nugg · 01/02/2026 17:57

A lot as I spent £1900 on a new boiler!

Also 10.99 at Screwfix on a new letterbox as a delivery driver tried to ram a too big cardboard sleeve into it!
£1.20 on parking and £9.85 on lunch at my lovely long dog walk. Money well spent!
£30.59 on stuff at B&M. Tinned food. Home stuff I needed. Meh.
£7.99 on Prosecco at Lidl because.

ForFunGoose · 01/02/2026 17:59

Coffee shop €10

Headphones €50

Pelsall116 · 01/02/2026 17:59

£2.30 (swimming) pls cost of fuel = whatever that might be - getting there and back - around 4 miles each way

WeepingAngelInTheTardis · 01/02/2026 18:01

Nothing, a random scammer tried to pay £80 out of my bank today for a Dubai visa luckily it bounced but had to cancel my card! Must of been cloned at a cash point. Angry

Darls3000 · 01/02/2026 18:06

£280. Shopped for a couple of days food and three coffees and went to M&S for the meat/fish for the week.

Littlejacksmummy · 01/02/2026 18:12

£39 on a highland cow side table. Essential 🤣

Twowhippetstwogingers · 01/02/2026 18:13

Absolutely nothing all weekend. Not a penny. But DS had his birthday party today and it was DDs birthday and party yesterday, so overall the weekend has probably cost me around £750. But I didn’t spend anything today 😬😂

Greyeyesgreenlight · 01/02/2026 18:16

Nothing yet today. We've spent the day at home, except for a walk after lunch. However, it's the 1st of the month so I owe £45 for DC2's dojo fees and have just had an email about another £35 for DC1's dance show. So, I'll transfer both of those this evening.

Has it arrived @DrPrunesqualer as that looks worryingly AI.

Frankenpug23 · 01/02/2026 18:21

£91 on some fruit, birthday cards, a top, cardigan and trousers set for my DD to wear to a family member’s funeral, and a shirt for my DS.

Edited as I have fat fingers and it should say 91 not 71 pounds!

yikesss · 01/02/2026 18:22

£11.45
