Why can’t you sleep?

My body clock is wonky since coming back from a short break overseas.

I’m trying not to stress. Last night I took nytol but felt groggy today. I’m now in a quiet lounge with sleeping dogs. Have had a snack watching Netflix.

if you’re awake (in the UK) what are you up to? The days of feeding newborns are long gone for me - what’s happening in your house if you’re awake? 🙂

I'm enjoying the peace. Haven't actually gone to bed yet! I never get control of the TV remote but now I do. I'm about to go to bed though, hopefully my toddler isn't hogging my bed already (usually they are a middle of the night visitor).

Chronic insomnia started in my early forties a ten years later I still have it.

Psoriasis driving me crazy. It’s so sore and itchy that I can’t help scratching 😭

Where did you go on your short overseas trip?

Classic night owl here. If I was allowed to start work at midday, finish at 8pm and go to bed at 3am my body clock would be happy. Sadly I have to fit in to the real world. I'm off to bed now because I have to, not because I want to.

In a previous life I had a horrible itching condition on my hands and feet. Made worse by Prosecco (!). That was bloody awful. You have my sympathy. I tried everything. I think it was pomphollx excema

Sleeping tablets are the only things that really work. Think it’s down to menopause.

We're all badly sleeping due to being quite poorly with our approximately 1 billionth bug of the winter so far. 🤒

No I feel fine - I take zolpidem, but I don’t like taking them.

we were really lucky with the timings of of our trip but yeah it was severe!

BBC news America was on just now in the background while I poorlyscroll and the presenter was dressed for the apocalypse variety of snow storm 😕

Yes we were watching the weather channel whilst we were out there and saw more was predicted this weekend

😬 makes me nervous. Best not read the preppers board otherwise I'll do a stockpile order at 2am, and that's never wise
