What does everyone think of the latest eps? I’m liking the “what happened next” type ones. Mind you I was surprised about the revisit to Tanya and that he did leave his wife…. But I found myself a bit too disbelieving in the next bits about how perfect the breakup was and that the wife was happy he was leaving her for another woman??

Oh yes I thought exactly the same! The idea that someone is "relieved" when their partner announces they've been having a long term affair is such bullshit.

Her reports about the magistrates court dealings in the recent episode is bollocks. The legal advisor does not tell the Magisrates what to do.

Her latest catchphrase is saying "oh there it is or there she is."

Which makes no sense whatsoever.

I thought that. She really does talk shite sometimes! I like it when she tries to make out she hasn’t been told the ins and outs in advance…

I enjoy some of the guests when Anna doesn’t constantly interrupt them.

She is soooo annoying. She is obsessed with finding out how much sex they are having, she doesn’t listen and she thinks she has the ultimate view on whether what they were doing or thinking was right or wrong. She repeats stuff back to them with a layer of superiority and given she is not very eloquent it’s very tedious. I’m totally with you op. She says she doesn’t offer views unless asked for but she is constantly offering views and opinions.

The fact that she thanks them every time they "share" something. Just thank them once at the end ffs! The guests are dumping their guts about their favourite subject- themselves! Which they have volunteered to do! A recent gem Anna uttered was "thanks for sharing that so articu-ler-ly-ly".

Otherwise its great coz I'm so nosey 🤣

This week, a really interesting guest who does private detective work. Who talks the most? Anna of course. Her questions are so rambling and lacking direction that the person barely gets a moment to speak. Just STFU

Also. It's "Machiavellian". Not Machavellan And you used it wrongly.

Such a shame she spoke over the guest and kept trying to one up them, it ruined what had the potential to be a really interesting discussion.

i think part of the problem recently is that some guests and contributors have been really good, fluent speakers and this has served to really highlight how poor Anna is. That and Anna’s constant need to talk about herself.

I’m not sure I can continue to listen tbh.

I agree, I would've loved to just hear that woman talking to be interviewed intelligently. But they were just endless questions that ended up being a "do you think X or Y?" and the only answer they could give was binary and she just did not shut the fuck up.
I can't imagine what it's like having therapy with her.
It's my go to podcast to listen to when I'm trying to go back to sleep! lol

Normally, there's no contest between who I find the most frustrating to listen to out of Anna, with her "wise old sage" act, and her guest. Today it's a close thing. Why is this woman still with him??

I thought Anna was a bit better today but the guest…crikey. I couldn’t decide what was going on, maybe she was addicted to the drama? It was all very sad really and I actually thought Anna had a good point about the guest’s identity being very tied into her relationship.
