Did he use his real name? Maybe the ex wife became aware and she objected as all their friends and family heard it? Or the affair partner’s husband? He referred to her as his ex wife but could he have got divorced that quickly?? Did he not mean estranged wife? It was a pretty recent situation and in effect still ongoing? So likely emotions are still raw despite how he tried to present it?

They worked together. Maybe someone at work listened, recognised his voice, put two and two together (he did give details about OW like her age) and realised and OW was not happy.

The split was so recent and his wife was apparently not aware that the affair was ongoing. I wonder if wife got wind of Podcast and decided to let AP's husband know. I am overly invested in this, the guy was such a smug twat.

Has anyone listened to this woman this week? Who seems to not think through any decision she ever makes

Just got to the bit where she's trying for a baby with this bloke over quite a long period of time but has actually realised that he's still living with his wife
I'm starting to wonder if it's all bullshit

OMG! What a car crash. It just seemed to be someone making awful decisions time and time again and learning nothing. She also seemed very vague on some quite significant details but thought maybe it was because the truth would show her in an even worse light so it was better to ‘not remember’. Yes and the sniffing!

Oh and the wanting to speak to the wife in case she ‘had any questions’?! It just made me think she was someone who loved drama. I thought that was really bizarre.

Very keen to keep adding how experienced she was …

Omg Anna was cracking me up on this episode, she sounds so dubious and confused as times, the ubiquitous "no judgement here" phrase was doing some incredibly heavy lifting hahaha.

Wasn't it just. My ears nearly fell off when, after saying what a mess the first marriage was once they started actually living together, she got with the affair partner, promptly started trying for a baby, and then admitted to Anna that no, she and affair partner had still never lived together and that he'd secretly gone back to his wife! Great idea to bring a baby into this!
And they did fall off when she said how they'd had a good, peaceful relationship now for four years - except for him still not having divorced his wife, not being willing to tell her he would at some point, living with his mother, and their two children being split between her and his mother.
