Following Katie Price’s engagement posts. She’s just split from JJ slater - now she’s engaged to some Dubai businessmen. At first I thought the posts were AI , but upon further inspection ( see : time wasting ) he is a real person with a Facebook account that has been active for some time, as is his mothers it seems - so he is real.

But , surely this is some kind of publicity stunt ? I have always liked her but it just seems a bit ridiculous at 47 years of age if it is ?

I think it is the need to be in the press. I didnt know she was trying to find a husband.I havent heard from her marriage details since alex.

The guy - he's some sort of businessman influencer in Dubai? I read he's lived there for 21 years. How is that going to work out with her kids? With all of the Social Services involvement she's had I doubt if she can just move abroad with the younger 2 - especially with what (appears at least) to be a very new relationship.

... and what happens to Harvey? Isn't he in an Adult Social Care placement?

At least we know it won't be at a Sandals Resort - when she went whining to the press about her beach wedding the company offered her a full refund on the basis she never return.

She doesn't have custody of the younger two due to neglect, she has occasional visits, Harvey is in a supported care home.

i have heard she makes money in dubai doing this sort of thing. which is just hideous. the new bloke will be a fake relationship. previous one was too. all will be contractual and publicity for both of them. i do fear she is v vulnerable and has been exploited hidously. i also feel she has very, many issues.

yep and i saw her speaking the other night and she is also using AI to make a fortune too. Good at earning, rubbish at paying tax and keeping hold of her wealth.

He wants to be famous i guess? Isn’t that the MO of everyone she dates…

He wants fame and/or her money. I’m not convinced he’s a successful businessman, or as wealthy as he’d like people to think. If he was he’d have his pick of beautiful women in Dubai, he wouldn’t need to propose to a 47 year old Z lister who doesn’t live there.

I think we all know how her story is going to end. It's very sad as her life is just such a car crash. I suspect a combination of drug habit / severe mental health issues are at play, similar to Amy Winehouse/Judy Garland (but devoid of any talent whatsoever- if feels strange even writing those names next to hers). If anything she represents the worse of the Z list celebrity trash gossip culture.

Isn't one of her ex-husbands on a rape charge for raping a 15 year old girl at the moment?

A friend showed my a video of Carl Woods masturbating from that OnlyFannies site, so clearly not the wealthy businessman he purported to be! Probably low life drug people. Apparently a lot of addicts work in the porn industry / prostitution. Who knows who these people really are!

He's a Dubai business man. It's more likely that she is feeling a little money short and has done this for a PR stunt. No way this is genuine. It's a good thing that none of her kids live with her & Harvey is back in care. Bloody ridiculous.

Imagine just regaining custody of your kids, who are likely destabilised and traumatised and bringing yet another man into their lives.

She needs help- not just her weight. She’s covered in scar tissue from all her surgeries and her lips are constantly covered in sores. She’s also balding.. yet continues to have procedures every week

All of the issues are her own doing. Lots of people have hard lives but they don’t abuse their animals and neglect their children

He will have to take on all her debt.
She is officially bankrupt with no money at all
She failed to attend her last court case over unpaid fines and taxes.
Why would someone willingly take on someone like that? Its not for HER money like some posters say, because she has none!

I think the celeb industry is designed to dumb down society. They take unintelligent but highly attention seeking families like Beckhams, Katona, Price/Andre, Westbrook, Solomon etc, and over hype them as more special than they are. Such as David Beckham once being a good player, but then ignored his manager when asked to concentrate on football, than going along with his talentless wife using him for a K'dashian type talentless celeb career, after she could no longer prance behind more talented Spice Girls for the attention she craves. He then became such a bad player, that when he was the England captain, he was the only one to miss a penalty in the Euros, getting England kicked out, due to being tired from his wife using the game to have parties to invite talented people, to get her picture in magazines with them. The media try to brainwash young people into thinking their aim in life should be to make up dumb attention seeking schemes for 'diots to admire and have no hopes for their offspring than to sell into the talentless celeb industry. The 'celebs' start to look more and more disgustingly tacky while the tattoos go higher up their neck and sometimes onto their face. Then they're promoted as style icons or fashion designers, despite never spending a day working in or studying the industry. Royals often let them hang around with them at charity events, with the promise of an honour like a Knighthood for their services to dumbing down society, which will dumb down more people into thinking they're special and a role model.

i don't understand why anyone likes or feels sorry for her, she's an attention seeking, vain and selfish woman who only thinks of the next pr stunt, surgery or sexual partner. all she does is splash the cash that she doesn't have, acts as a blow up doll for rich men and get plastic surgery. the fact she gets away with many offences and sickening actions really infuriates me, she shouldn't be allowed near children or animals, every pet she gets dies and it makes me feel ill. she's about as likeable and deserving of sympathy as an infected sore.

I'm torn. On one had, that's a LOT to go through, especially so publicly. On the other, plenty of people have difficult lives and don't turn into quite such a rollercoaster. I don't think one should diagnose on the internet and people without learning disabilities and personality or mental health disorders can and do make very poor decisions sometimes. But it seems kinder to assume someone is unwell and to hope they get the support they need to make better decisions, than to slam them for making poor ones.

I know people do make bad decisions - I've made a fair few myself - and a bad decision doesn't automatically mean someone doesn't have the capacity to make good decisions. But I find it hard to understand that anyone with the capacity to make better decisions would make so many decisions that are so very poor.
