Following Katie Price’s engagement posts. She’s just split from JJ slater - now she’s engaged to some Dubai businessmen. At first I thought the posts were AI , but upon further inspection ( see : time wasting ) he is a real person with a Facebook account that has been active for some time, as is his mothers it seems - so he is real.

But , surely this is some kind of publicity stunt ? I have always liked her but it just seems a bit ridiculous at 47 years of age if it is ?

Weird how someone who has apparently been made bankrupt more than once seems to nevertheless be able to live in a nice house, drive expensive cars and spend lots of their time on holiday abroad.

I've got a pretty good job and have never been made bankrupt but my lifestyle is noticeably less profligate than hers.

And as for the subject in hand, I do feel some degree of sympathy for KP as she has always stuck me as an incredibly insecure person. But I have far more sympathy for her poor children, particularly the littlest two.

TBH - I think that these days her relationships are "faux-mance" contracts to give both mutual publicity and keep them both on the celebrity pages of the tabloids as a source of income.

She was ordered to pay Alex Reid a substantial amount of money for revenge porn but to date has never paid up. She is on film telling Princess how she wasn’t paying school fees for her and junior (leaving Peter to pay the whole lot). She has been hiding income for years but appears to live a very ostentatious lifestyle. However, she lost her house and is now destined to have to find rentals forever more as she is very unlikely to ever get a mortgage again with her appalling financial record.
Also note that all the freebie holidays seem to have dried up and she has been effectively cancelled from TV appearances. ITV won’t have her on any of their shows at all.

However even if you go to a top school it won't help if a child isn't academic - even Eton was reduced to cheating by getting teachers to do the coursework to get Prince Harry a D in Art so that he fulfilled the minimum 2 A levels needed for Sandhurst.

And let’s face it, if genes count for anything, Katie is barely even literate and Peter Andre isn’t exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer. Mind you, he has at least managed to keep up a reasonably decent career which clearly pays well so brains aren’t everything.
