Following Katie Price’s engagement posts. She’s just split from JJ slater - now she’s engaged to some Dubai businessmen. At first I thought the posts were AI , but upon further inspection ( see : time wasting ) he is a real person with a Facebook account that has been active for some time, as is his mothers it seems - so he is real.

But , surely this is some kind of publicity stunt ? I have always liked her but it just seems a bit ridiculous at 47 years of age if it is ?

She is skint as in she's a double bankrupt and she has to pay 40% of her income from all streams including OF to the bankruptcy court. She doesn't make much money on OF, tattle had the receipts. She did allegedly make some money exchanging sex for money in the Middle East which I assume is where this Dubai businessman fiancé has come from. She's skint because she lives in an expensive rental house and lost all the money she made in the 90s and 00s. It might not be most people's definition of skint but by celebrity standards she absolutely is.

The money she owed Alex Reid isn't unpaid alimony it's money she owes in damages after she was found guilty of revenge porn by sharing intimate photos of him without his consent. She refused to pay the compensation and that was included in her debts.
She's bankrupt because she didn't pay hundreds of thousands of tax and also didn't pay innumerable other bills and debts.

Princess was 11 or 12 when she was removed by the court from her mum and placed with her dad full time. GCSEs came 4 years later- if she wasn't in a good place to engage with her education and get good grades it wouldn't be a surprise. She was neglected before she was removed. Neglect profoundly impacts children and usually includes poor school attendance too.

It's clearly a publicity stunt for both of them, everything she does is to get attention and attention (good or bad) pays. What I can't work out is what his motive is and what he is getting out of it. He already appears to be a successful businessman, so shouldn't need the extra money from publicity (or does he?). Surely being linked to such a car crash of a woman would just make him a laughing stock. Yeah in the engagement photos they both look very happy and instagrammable, however in real life she's a botched, ageing patchwork with obvious physical and mental health problems. Surely if he's looking for love and a genuine marriage, there are a million other people out there that would be a more suitable "catch". I'm waiting for the pre-wedding magazine deals with them putting on a show for them to milk the cash cow, then the inevitable amicable break up before it even gets to the pre nup..... I can imagine a wannabe like JJ going along with her shit but this guy?! Something doesn't add up for it to be real. Also, I hate how invested i am in this, it's just mind boggling!

I think you might be jumping ahead of yourself, believing that this is all real. Ain't no way she's moving anywhere full time for a fake relationship. But tbh, I wouldn't put it past her to abandon all of her children and animals to milk that cow.

What he’s getting out of it is fame now people have heard of him when they hadn’t before. I listen to her podcast with her sister she has health issues going on is having tests for weight loss apparently. She has been diagnosed with ADHD (I think or similar) so explains her erratic behaviour as due to that. How much of this is true I don’t know we only have her word. The behaviour with her animals kids etc is appalling in my eyes but we don’t know what is true and what’s not she says the media make a lot of lies about her. What I don’t understand is how her family don’t do an intervention? Her sis says herself she’s worried about her. Can’t wait to listen to her latest podcast regarding this ‘engagement’! The woman is a walking car crash but knows how to play the
media (her words)

Whenever I see a photo of her I just think she looks very very unwell, mentally and physically.

Why are her family not stepping in?

Aaahhh. I fucking hate this question. What do you expect them to do? You can’t just bundle up a full grown adult and shove them in a room until they conform. I would imagine her loved ones have done everything in their power but there’s only so much power you can have over someone else (without also being abusive yourself.)

I have just seen the latest photos. My goodness she looks so ill. Her knees, which aren’t swollen, are larger than her thighs.
