It’s almost like they purposely choose the most outrageous lie, the one we can clearly see with our own eyes isn’t true. I think there must be some reason they do that specifically. VA nurses are a breed apart. They work hard and for less pay than nurses in a community hospital. And the bureaucracy they have to deal with is awful. Especially under this 'we just looovvveee our veterans'. Cuts in service and personnel have made a hard job even harder.

I’m new. Uk citizen but surprisingly distressed. America has always felt like family but I don’t recognise the country anymore. There seems to be a large minority who are cheering Trump on in his viciousness and mendacity - that’s what is really so upsetting.

These videos show exactly what happened, some in slow motion. He had a gun on his person that he had a permit for in a state that allowed him to carry it.
It. was. never. in. his. hands..
At one point you can see both his hands on the pavement. They take his gun off his person, NOT out of his hands. An agent runs off with it. It is clearly shown.

This does seem to be a 2nd amd violation by ICE. Depending on the state, law enforcement are not even supposed to be able to ask to see a permit to carry, let alone disarm him. If the gun was holstered that is,

I've just found this thread and want to send all my sympathy and support to those of you in the US. I have a load of family in the US - family who went there originally to escape fascism in Germany. It is terrifying how quickly fascism grows even in countries that were considered bastions of democracy and liberalism.

• First, share all of Minnesota’s records on Medicaid and Food and Nutrition Service programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program data, with the federal government. Allowing the federal government to efficiently investigate fraud will save Minnesota taxpayers’ money and ensure that Minnesota’s welfare funds are being used to help those in need, not enrich fraudsters.
• Second, repeal the sanctuary policies that have led to so much crime and violence in your state. Removing criminal illegal aliens from Minnesota neighborhoods will save lives, and state and local officials should support this goal. All detention facilities in your state should cooperate fully with ICE, honor immigration detainers, and permit ICE to interview detainees in custody to determine immigration status. I urge you to reach an agreement with ICE that allows them to remove illegal aliens in custody of Minnesota’s prisons and jails and avoids pushing these interactions into your streets.

Yeah. The pink vid (I think it's that) is on CNN. You can see an ICE agent clearly unholster his side arm ( the ICE agents own) and shoots Alex on the ground . I wondered because the other vid I saw there is a single discharge, a pause, then a volley. I wondered if Alex had let a shot off, but that does not appear to be the case.

Alex is filming ICE as they get of their unmarked cars, goading them. ICE grab him, pepper spray him, get him on the deck and start pummeling him. Then it appears ICE notice Alex is armed, probably his clothes being moved showing his holster, and an ICE shoots him.

So, first and second amendment violation. The NRA should be yelling from the rooftops over this. The feds can't just execute someone for carrying.

This explains why the Whitehouse are saying " he was armed", rather than he tried to shoot ICE. Perfectly legal for Alex to be armed. Indeed, that's what Repugs campaign on, that EVERYONE who can legally be armed should be.

ICE look like HAMAS or ISIS here (again). It's a wonder they are not in a Toyota pickup.

Another point, I reckon, is that with Trump and crew claiming the city to be lawless, one would sort of expect licensed gun owners to be armed when heading out. As @SerendipityJane suggested in other posts, this is where the 2nd leads to, especially given how the right market it.
