I agree that Yolanda Hadid seems a little cuckoo but Anwar’s sister has also come out to say NP has been trying to get famous for the past decade so his family is definitely not a fan. So far, I’ve not seen one person share a positive story about NP.

Nelson sacked a second set of wedding planners a few weeks before the ceremony which resulted in a lawsuit, so not sure if they had any leading up to the wedding day. In a countersuit, the planners claimed all the disorganisation came from the Peltz’s side and they were asked to hide these issues from the Beckhams. Nelson wanted to cancel the whole thing but her mother said ‘it’d ruin NP’s career’ which tells you everything you need to know.

Mark A was the evening entertainment so this was definitely not BB & NP’s first dance, which was photographed and well documented in the Vogue coverage of rhe wedding.

I think the hadids are deeply dysfunctional so wouldn’t put any store by anything they say tbh. As for the wedding, it’s not unusual for the brides family to take control so I don’t know why the beckhams would have to be informed of anything. But yes, nothing nice seems to be coming out about NP. BB seems to have been forgotten in all this!!!

We can try and dismiss every negative account that comes out about her but when she seems to have fallen out with everyone from her hair stylist, nanny and multiple wedding planners to Selena Gomez, the Hadids and now the Beckhams, at some point the problem might be her.

D&V weren’t demanding to be informed about the plans; the Peltz family kept changing every detail and NP’s mum made the planners promise to keep this from the Beckhams because their side was sorted and the Peltz’ were embarrassed. This is all documented in the lawsuit which was eventually settled. The planners actually remarked that BB was a total gentleman.

BB reputation has always been as a simple, sensitive, gentle guy.

I expect he was emotionally overwhelmed and also parentified by the toxic shit he had to deal with throughout his childhood with DB slagging around and VB’s long term MH issues and her understandably deep distress despite trying to fake it all with her vulnerable DCs dragged on to the global stage. The oldest child is often the front line absorber for this family shit.

Likely BB spent his childhood trying to soothe his mother and seemingly has just walked in to a similarly charged dynamic with the sulky dissatisfied NP. But that’s all he knows and where he gets his identity and self worth. The whole lot of them could do with some therapy and reflection.

I think a big issue with these mega wealthy celeb kids is that they don’t understand how spoilt they are. I also don’t believe that you should ever expect your kids to be grateful to you or think they owe you something tbh.

Not sure what public opinion survey you’ve collected your info from but considering this has trended worldwide on social media for the past week, there are about 100 Beckham threads on here alone (with this one at nearly 1000 replies) and VB streams are up 19000% on the previous week, I think the public care just a little bit.

People have obviously commented on this thread about the distress that leads to going no contact, but I think for most people the drama is just a welcome lighthearted distraction from the news and general doom and gloom. It's relatable (arguments over weddings are so common) and glamorous and while money doesn't shield the protagonists from all life's ills, it shields them from a lot.

I would not want to spend my life under the media spotlight, but if people cared about the moral implications of the Beckham brand it wouldn't have any value.

Yes eating disorders are classed as psychiatric disorders in both DSM-V and ICD-11 …. with significant mental as well as physical symptoms.

In fact ED have by far the highest mortality rate of any other psychiatric disorder which mean this is a very challenging / overwhelming emotional environment for the whole family system to shoulder.

A parent with MH issues is a well established risk factor taking its toll on compromising the emotional development of children such a family environment.

I think much of the negative press about the Pelz-Beckhams was a result of the wedding planner debacle - but I don't think there was any suggestion that the Beckhams made that public?
