It is also odd because if she really was desperate for fame, you'd assume she'd have tried to do something like the US equivalent of "I'm a Celibrity" or many other reality shows, or "Oprah" interviews etc. Has she ever even tried to get onto something like that? To me it actually seems like she has lived a quite low-key life, but I'm not American so I don't know much about her.

I think she probably is a "mean girl" (there are many rumours about that) but the "desperate for fame" accusation I don't get. I do see that motivation in VB (and e.g. in MM) but not NP.

Nicola & her mother will have looked at the various “career” options available. Marrying a famous name is usually a good one. She doesn’t have to stay married long, to benefit from it.

They do wish that their wedding had been much bigger news, but they aren’t celebs, just Nepos. Like Meghan, Nicola wants to run the game her way. Not happy with just being rich…

I think they seem very similar to H and M.

I think the difference is their ages. H had a whole adult life before he married (and the stories I’ve heard about him pre Meghan don’t make me feel sympathetic - unlike most I don’t mind meghan but don’t like Harry.

I’m going by her history; has dated multiple famous men (including a 17 year old Anwar Hadid when she was 22) and has been trying to be an actress for years. It’s not giving ‘I’m trying to live a quiet, private life.’ Good for her if she wants to pursue that lifestyle but BB acting like he’s above his fame hungry parents when his wife is just the same is laughable.

Another similarity between her exes is that they all seemed to have had abusive parents!!! And were younger than her.

She is so delusional, grandiose, entitled and arrogant about her abilities she doesn’t see that part. She got the ‘reach’ then had to marry him for more clicks, then had to do a vow renewal for even more clicks - so now she has to blow it all up with the ghost written insta - which brings so much attention to her and her new film. When this gets panned - she will have run out or road and will likely ditch him.

I think this commercial set up changed along the way. The MSM had loads of dirt on DB affairs and D&V gave away their fantasy family parade for free to keep this shit out of the papers - this allowed DB to grow lots of luxury brand deals as a ‘wholesome’ family man which has made them millions. There really is no need for VB to have her own tab on DM celebrities - she isn’t a celebrity - she was the least talented in a girl band 3 decades ago - since then she has been fronting up a failing fantasy vanity fashion project.

She’s a nice looking girl, like GiGi & Bella Hadid. And Hailey Bieber (another handy marriage). Kendall is the only one remotely model-worthy. And Cindy Crawford’s daughter is lucky to have inherited enough from her mother. But Nicola obviously missed that boat, and is too old now for modelling.

The thing with having a big wedding (see the Ramsay hoopla) is that your role is to be a “bride”. When it’s all over, then what? You have to come up with something to promote, like Kim Kardashian does. Neither Brooklyn and Nicola have any big deals (that I know of). Holly Ramsay will have deals lined up.
