Harry has a right to be bitter. As I've said and will continue to say, his mother died when he was a young child and he was brought up in a goldfish bowl having to watch the father who complained he had ginger hair and was a boy when he was born, marry the hag from hell who ruined his mother's life. We can be appraised of the potential WW3 situation and be informed politically and do other things.

As an aside, I've had conversations with people who lived through WW2. They got on with life in-between daily air raids. Some have said to me that it was the best time ever. Yes, they have said that.

I guess part of the answer to that is that in terms of specifics his statement addressed issues that would have affected/been relevant to NPB, as opposed to focusing on his childhood, and as well as that the person he directed his annoyance at was VB. That put the women in the centre of the discussion.

There was no "Dad ridiculed me when I couldn't kick a football aged 5" ( not saying that ever happened, but I had to make something up because the statement gave no such details - which is really my point.)

People are talking about the women because BB did - or, at least, the IG statement did if his PR or whoever wrote it. But I don't think they did because there was odd phrasing, like "adamant on", which I think anyone paid to do it would get right.

VB has a burning all consuming need for publicity and money.

She would sit with publicists and media outlets and plan campaigns. imagine you say you’re interested in photography and next thing a book is being released. VB doesn’t care if it makes her son look like an idiot. She’s got her precious headlines.

Now she can’t control the headlines, so I would be concerned she’s controlling what she eats to try and bring him back under control.
