He is awful to put this into the public domain. What a loser. Does he have a job yet? His wife wouldn’t have looked at him twice if his name wasn’t Beckham.
He reminds me of that little shit Harry.

No he doesn't remind me of Harry at all, I really don't like Harry and I have never believed a word Meghan or harry said about the RF.

It's quite obvious that Victoria has bullied Nicole.

I would say they are shrewd and savvy bright, not intellectually bright.

Therefore they don’t value education!

'For me I think that Brooklyn has had to live out his formative years in the glare of publicity'

I don't think it was that bad he was hardly sent down the mines at 10yrs old. What 'glare of publicity'? A few pap shots at events and the odd Hello spread? I don't think it was that horrific tbh. The luxury and privilege surely was a teensy bit of consolation?

Edited

I mean rich people can still be unhappy and depressed and anxious.

They just get to cry in mansions and Lamborghini’s rather than in a Ford focus and a flat.

A unhappy childhood will still be unhappy to you even if you got a £1,000 handbag. It doesn’t change feelings and emotions and splashing cash doesn’t make someone a good parent either. Look at Disney dads.

I was an extremely shy child and teenager, I cannot think of anything worse than having a press pack of grown men chasing me and taking my photo. Come to think of it I couldn't think of anything worse now.

Brooklyn has spoken of suffering with long lasting anxiety, I'm not sure a nice car will make up for that.

And yes, before you say it he could have it worse. He could be living in a warzone. But by that logic the vast majority of MN would not have the right to complain about anything.

David beckham can hardly string a sentence together. He’s not the brightest is he?

Nor is Victoria…..

The world is going to absolute shit and 4 out of the 7 posts in the trending panel at the time I'm writing this are about Brooklyn Beckham. Personally I think it's time people stopped obsessing over celebrities and got worked up about things that actually matter.

Of course money doesn't make you happy (allegedly) but surely it is a consolation to the hardship of living a life in the spotlight?

MylipstickiscalledHugMe · 20/01/2026 16:20

When has anyone with an unhappy childhood ever said it wouldn't have been so bad if I'd had more toys.

Emotional damage doesn't work like that, obviously

I’m sure there are rich people who would give their fortunes if they could be promised to be happy.

The only consolation prize is not having to worry about the roof over your head or the food in your belly. As a child that shouldn’t be a worry anyway. They got stuff but clearly not the emotional stuff.

I can only speak for myself but I think it’s the jusxtaposution of a carefully curated family media brand with the fractured relationships that affect many families that makes this so interesting to follow. It’s relatable in a way.

FlorenceBlack · 20/01/2026 16:22

DB being such a big fan of the Royal Family, Diana killed in a car crash whilst being chased by the paps.
1997.

DB being crucified by the media for getting a red card in the World Cup, later describing feeling clinically depressed because of the public backlash.
1998.

DB’s first born child being displayed to the world media from the day he was born and produced to the paps at every opportunity.
1999 onwards.

DB knew very well what press intrusion could do to a person and how their mental health could suffer when the media turn against you, that you are built up by the same press who then delight in knocking you down. He’d had personal experience of that the year before Brooklyn was born.

Most people, especially with that personal experience, would surely want to protect their precious baby from the world, not offer it up on a plate.

Exactly a Rolex wouldn’t replace my dad walking out.

A horse wouldn’t change getting bullied at school.

Personally I think you shouldn't dictate what people should do, think or care about.

I can and do care about Gaza, Greenland, Iran, the NHS you name it. But after one of the hardest and scariest weeks of my life last week right now I'm invested in celebrity gossip 🤷.

I've said it before & will again - they are bright enough to manage the brand & to make a staggering amount of money. So not stupid. May not be academically intelligent & arguably not emotionally intelligent but definitely have a skill set & are mighty savvy

Lollylavender · 20/01/2026 16:26

Why are the Beckhams even considered a ‘celebrity’? Just because they made lots of money from playing football/being in a band? They became rich, but they are neither intelligent nor classy imo and certainly not worth looking up to Hmm

They probably pay others to manage their ‘brand’

well, then they are skilled recruiters & manage to oversee the "others" extremely effectively

That’s not how being a celebrity works otherwise all surgeons, astronauts and aristocrats would be celebs 😂 it’s whether you’re famous or not, regardless of merit or class.

Indeed. Most people can see that he’s a misguided ungrateful man child.

’I suspect their spin team will be reading public opinion closely and waiting a bit longer before responding’

I doubt they’ll respond. They don’t need to say a word. It’s there for all to see. And I’m sure more will come out as the days go by. Foolish boy.

Do you have children?

Rollonsummer1 · 20/01/2026 16:36

I've found wet trousers and they probably didn't notice .
What is shocking about these pics is that she's almost falling down the stairs and he isn't even waiting for her ! She's struggling behind him trying to catch his arm !

3luckystars · 20/01/2026 16:46

It could be blood on her pants also. The photographers are so intrusive.

You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

David and Victoria have put their children's lives on social media all their lives, Brooklyn has every right to make this statement on social media to defend himself. I feel sorry for Brooklyn and the other children being paraded around in public like a handbag accessory.

I agree - but it's a shame he used the famous family name to get his book of terrible photos published. He'd never have managed it without the Beckham branding.

Question is did he want to and push for it or did big brand do it.

I doubt we will ever know but most people
wouldn’t want those pictures published to be laughed at.

Or somehow did someone convince him they were very good rather than a friendly but harsh truthful criticism of his photos.

The photo book is mind boggling but then again brand is pushing Cruz toad licking music so 🤷🏻‍♀️
