The story was taken from the guys published autobiography - I’m sure if it was actually bullshit, they would have sued him for libel.

Who knows. They weren’t unknowns when that photo was taken.

Having observed the Beckhams relatively closely for years by having children in the same school, it comes as no surprise to me that it has all come out in such an ugly way.

Victoria once accused me of taking her photo in the playground, when I was just holding my phone up and messaging someone whilst standing in her proximity. The fact that she was so narcissistic as to make the assumption that I was photographing her really struck me, as did the irony of how she then proceeded to tell me that ‘she was entitled to her privacy when she was with kids’…whilst at the same time as posting their entire lives all over social media!

Image control is everything to that family. What a superficial, vacuous, stressful and ultimately meaningless existence. I really do feel sorry for the children, who’ve had no choice in how they’ve been brought up or the insanity of the sphere that they’ve been thrust into.

Suzanne Constantine is a very good friend of Elton John’s. (Her autobiography is a good read.) Elt is a good friend of the Beckham’s and is Brooklyn’s godfather. EJ has shown support for Brooklyn before. Back in the summer, when this “feud” was already going on, EJ wished Brooklyn and his wife a happy anniversary to the sweetest, most loving couple. It was felt at that time he had picked a side.

I expect their spin team are on this forum posting and trying desperately to muddy the waters and recast Brooklyn and his wife as the villain of the piece.
it is quite obvious if you know what to look for. Of course fans of the Beckhams don’t want to admit they’ve been duped for all these years, so are committed to it all being Brooklyns or his wives fault.

I am a bit surprised about the support for D&V. They're the ones who've been endlessly briefing the media about this 'feud.' Brooklyn has stayed quiet up until now. Imagine your own parents throwing you under the bus like that. Must be devastating for the poor lad.

it was worse than that I think, althogh he was put on the spot:

Doesnt read well where he applauds himself for the good he has done but talks about his children's mistakes like they are independent from him! You would expect an adult to have a better handle on things than a child, that's where parents come in.

I feel uncomfortable with Katherine Ryan saying ‘your parents are not abusers’ - whatever the situation none of us know what happens behind closed doors and this actually makes it harder for people to open up - and potentially harder for his siblings too

belittling abuse because the family is rich is wrong (I’m not talking about this specific situation but generally - I do k ow someone wealthy who was outraged when social services were involved because the young child said their dad hit them - ‘don’t we give them everything they need!’)
