Is it one of us lot 🤣?

PandoraSocks · 15/01/2026 18:31

Justine?

(Being tongue in cheek!)

Piggywaspushed · 15/01/2026 18:46

Yeah, I reckon that's not a current MP. I doubt it's Gorgeous George because Palestine. It could be an old fashioned Red Wall type as scratch the surface and they are often very traditional in many views and see Reform as the Party of the Working Man now. But I can't think of one.

Where's that awful Clare woman these days? The Communist who was a Brexiteer?

Claire Fox? She's in the Lords now but not as Labour. Could be, though.

Eta: just checked- she has never been in the LP, so not her.

DuncinToffee · 15/01/2026 12:02

I saw it on the news, in Exmouth as well

Considering myself lucky I moved out of my flat 10months ago. It’s within the cordon. Hopefully your DS has somewhere to go @pointythings. It’s obviously unexplored ordinance week this week.

LMFAO at Jenrick. He’s been completely outplayed by Badenoch. I am going to miss his one man Tory leadership campaign though.

Notonthestairs · 15/01/2026 18:51

Jenrick said the Conservatives broke Britain - but he was happy to stay with them until May elections/the next leadership contest.

My biggest laugh is Jenrick claiming he 'put personal ambition to one side' to join Reform.

Obvious that Jenrick reckons he's in with a chance as Shadow Chancellor. No more Disney murals for anyone. Property developing donors must be delighted.

RafaistheKingofClay · 15/01/2026 18:55

I’m hoping for a Rayner defection to reform just for the lolz.

Ooh. Some Reform-inclined posters would find that very hard to cope with 🤣. Their heads would probably fall off.

RafaistheKingofClay · 15/01/2026 19:04

It’ll never happen but the reaction of the reform posters on here would be glorious. And we could all do with that sort of entertainment the way this year seems to be shaping up.

BIossomtoes · 15/01/2026 19:05

Well, what a busy day it’s been, shame I missed all the fun. I went to London for the Suerat exhibition only to find the National turfing everyone out for a fire alarm. I never thought I’d find myself admiring Badenoch but making Jenrick Farage’s problem was a master stroke. With so few MPs left that must have hurt.

PandoraSocks · 15/01/2026 19:08

I hope Badenoch continues to get it together. I can't stand her, but at the same time a viable Tory party is needed. Now off to wash my mouth out.

Hope you had a good day despite the turfing out @BIossomtoes

BIossomtoes · 15/01/2026 19:12

I drank lots of tea and exchanged lots of gossip with my friend. It was lovely but I’ll have to go again before 8 February as I’m determined to see this show before it closes.

DuncinToffee · 15/01/2026 19:21

Glasman? They will have a HoL member then

I can't really find anything on SM, maybe it's rife on X?

I really don't get a Green person defecting to Reform. Yeah, like, no - you were never a Green, were you?

You wash your mouth out. Pandora is first in the toilet queue but you next.

PandoraSocks · 15/01/2026 18:20

Kate Hoey could be a contender.

Hilarious suggestions 🤣

It could well be. Good call. Lord Glasman is a bit of a rogue player.

Why are they needed? all they've ever done is sold the country out.

I'm hoping for a resurgent LibDem party and PR, wont get that with the Tories or Lab on their own.

Farage wouldn't announce a Lab defection a week before hand, its all smoke and mirrors.

Can you demonstrate to me when Badenoch got it together?

I'm struggling here. Many thanks.

DuncinToffee · 15/01/2026 19:35

Any Tory in governemt post 2019 has contributed to their demise and to the current state of the UK. A decent Tory party should start from scratch.

Actually, you're right. I just meant we need a viable opposition to keep Reform out.

I recant my heretic ways.

She has dealt with Jenrick's treachery well, though.

If it's this Glasman chap, no one will care. No one has heard of him (bar really pretty clued up people from which I exclude myself because I hadn't).
