She made the right decision but he made it easy for her. Racism remains acceptable As were Jenrick's previous exploits.

Just throwing this out- Peter Mandelson.

DuncinToffee · 15/01/2026 20:05

Ooh that is a good one, Trump buddies.

All this Jenrick stuff has taken away the attention from the fact that:

Starmer stood up to Musk and won re Grok.

Waiting lists have fallen at their fastest rate for 15 yrs and are now at their lowest levers for 3 yrs.

The economy grew by 0.3%.

And the US was doing well under Biden ....

Interesting idea.

PickAChew · 15/01/2026 21:01

Mandy would not be a surprise.

placemats · 15/01/2026 22:11

Mandy is no loss and can't see how it's anyone's gain. But the same also applies to Jenrick.

Tricked into rather than not doing some basic checks 🤔

Not a hope in hell Mandelson would leave for Reform nor would he have him...., too tarnished now.

Like i said, imho, its a bluff, deflection...

One of the pitfalls of being a greedy grifter and a liar. What a pathetic, despicable man he is. But people will still support him.

MsJinks · 16/01/2026 10:11

Can’t believe people vote for him whatever - either praising Watkins, abhorrent or being tricked, beyond stupid - either way being a grifting asshole.
He’s having a reshuffle of his shadow front bench with the Reform 6 - going to be like rats in a sack soon.

BIossomtoes · 16/01/2026 10:12

He’s got a front bench? With six MPs? They’ll all have about ten jobs, won’t they?

DuncinToffee · 16/01/2026 10:30

The thread on Farage's racism is full of apologists, expect more of the same.

He'll do anything for £70. Even a shout out to Hugh Janus.

So attaching photo - as someone else said on the Trump thread, however credible you find ridiculous statements you should check - so I went back to find out if I’d seen or imagined the ‘front bench’ bit …

Badenoch has appointed Nick Timothy as shadow chancellor

Unsurprising mask-off racism from Nick Timothy here.

Upset at the abolition of the two-child limit - because some of (British) kids who will benefit have (British) parents who are the wrong colour (were born in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia, etc).

I think of him as Mr Windrush.
I suppose many voters will have forgotten quite how bloody dreadful - and treacherous - that was. Although I seem to remember him blaming everyone but themselves.
Staunch Brexiteer - so clearly has the nations economic interests at heart. 🙄

Didn’t she have to sack him?

RafaistheKingofClay · 16/01/2026 17:09

I thought it was Rudd that lost her job over Windrush. Even though it was nothing to do with her. Everyone else seemed to escape unscathed.

More of those who could technically benefit will be the children of Boris Johnson.
