Brooklyn Beckham sends parents legal letter

I saw in the media that Brooklyn Beckham has had a legal letter sent to his parents requesting that they stop trying to make contact with him. I didn’t realise the talk of him falling out with them was real, thought it was just gossip. I think I was a bit shocked by it. Of course I don’t know them but they always seemed like a lovely close family.

How csn you possibly know this?

Brooklyn Beckham and Prince Harry are just classic examples of not very clever or talented adults who have grown up thinking they are absolutely marvellous and special and deserve to be treated so - and it just hasn’t panned out like for them. People take the piss. I sort of feel bad for them, but they could just get regular jobs, live a quiet and private life and they would be much much happier.

I know they say they can’t possibly lower themselves to actually doing a day of work because the press interest would be too much but honestly, it’s because they give the press stuff to write about. If they went to work as a gardener or for a charity or behind the scenes at an art gallery or ANYTHING other than airing their dirty laundry in public there would be initial press interest but after a year or so, no one would give a shit. Neither BB or PH are particularly good looking, interesting or intelligent and no one except for the odd lunatic would care what they were up to if they didn’t keep trying and failing to make up public careers for themselves.

A lot of men seem to have been bought and paid for by inlaws. Although there are clearly issues Harry Mountbatten-Windsor isn't in that camp, but I can think of Brooklyn, Adam Peaty and Richie Myler. I feel embarrassed for them as well as sad for all the families. These guys will be watching their step forever and a day.

Her Dad remortgaged to get her there & she felt obligated & had to graft. By own admission she was weak in cohort. Talentless though -def not, as you say.

She’s also objectively good looking & has always been so. DB spotted her in the music vids etc.

Why do posters keep shoe horning Prince Harry into a thread about Brooklyn Beckham.?

I watched last night 1998 Top of the Pops Christmas special, I was a big fan of the Spice Girls then (9 years old!) and Victoria did sing solo and she looked lovely. She was about 5 months pregnant with Brooklyn.

I went NC with my family for a couple of weeks and it was HELL. I could barely eat or function.
Thank God someone saw sense first.

They made a big mistake parading the kids in front of cameras from a young age, they’re not the Monarchy, they could have given their children the privacy they deserved. I do though think they love their children, their other adult sons seem very close to D&B.

I heard recently (don’t know if it’s been mentioned here) that Brooklyn sent the letter (or a letter) after Victoria liked his Instagram post of his cooking (apparently she is not allowed to make any contact whatsoever and liking the post contravened this??). Brooklyn also blocked his youngest brother.

I don’t know, it all sounds very unhealthy and not I’m not sure why Brooklyn takes so much umbrage against his family when the others all seem to like each other.

Its really sad for everyone involved. I read Tom Bowers biography of the Beckhams and its an eye opener. DBs repeated infidelity....the emphasis placed on keeping Brand Beckham going and in the public eye at all costs. It must be awful for BB to have grown up with a dad that has repeatedly and blatantly been unfaithful to his Mum. I dont think either side is blameless here though.

Is it shoe horned in? Or just another example of talentless famous people struggling to find their way in life and falling out in public with their families?

That’s the main family value. It’s a case of be careful what you wish for…A cautionary tale.

People don’t know for sure but the other two sons haven’t joined forces with Brooklyn in solidarity, so it does make you wonder why he out of the three of them has such big issues. He has also blocked Cruz now.

I read it too & beyond the Spanish period there’s nothing on D being explicitly unfaithful. V has come into own in recent years & I really can’t see her staying with a sexually incontinent DB.

Mr Peltz is on his third marriage to a decades younger (ex?) fashion model so looks & beauty a worthy prize £ absorbed family value here for N.

The ‘Brand’ has worked better for them? They seem to be less sensitive.

They don't seem all that 'lovely' a family to me.

David Beckham is clearly controlling and has cheated on his wife at least once that we know of, probably many many times. Victoria seems miserable and clearly loves him much more than he loves her. The children have been used for brand PR since the day they were born. Not my idea of a " lovely close family."
