There was an extended riff about how much Renee Nicole Good's father loved Trump and Trump hoped he still felt that way.

Obviously much more of it was about loving Trump than about Good or her death.

Re: plugging him into the mains. Did see someone on Twitter put forward a theory a few weeks ago about Trump being MIA for the first few days of every month. No public appearances planned and no interviews. Normally you can’t keep him away from a camera. Theory is hens receiving some sort of treatment monthly. Would be interesting if that rallied up with the bruising on his hand.

Whatever it is it may be requiring regular cognitive tests but there is no reason for him to be given cognitive screening tests quite so often as he is being given them.

A lot of chatter that he is having infusions of a drug, probably into his hands, that slow down Alzheimer’s or similar. Thsts why he’s always wanging on about his cognitive tests. It’s monitoring of the decline

Sky News have a pretty good assessment of it on their website. Rambling, incoherent and lacking in any self awareness were all used to describe it. Comparing him to Joe Biden’s worst moments and highlighting that was his downfall.

I haven’t watched the whole thing, but apparently Mark Carney gave an exemplary Presidential speech at Davos earlier today. If only other nations’ leaders would follow this example.

The actual speech is the first 19 minutes or so of the half-hour session and is very well worth watching. In fact I think it's epoque-making and historians will be looking back at it in 50 years' time.
