Last year Department of Homeland Security used Which Way American Man as part of their recruit recruitment of ICE agents. It drew controversy then so they know the reference.

Many in the US have discovered that Owning the Libs is expensive. It's cost them their jobs, homes, SNAP, farms, health insurance, businesses and family members.

I am convinced the repub politicians were disappointed when SCOTUS done away with Roe V Wade. Because that was a massive fund raiser issue wiped out.

And I think the dems celebrated, because they thought it would be a donation bonanza for them.

Both parties have had enough power at times over the past decades to put Roe V Wade into law, but they never did. The dems could have done it under Obama at one point, but it was handwaved away, more important stuff to do. Same with the repubs.

Yup.

Without getting into the good or bad of Starmer, at least with the UK system backbenchers do have some clout. They can sack the PM, as we have often seen in recent years. Starmer is limited by Parliament.

But the US ? It's going the opposite. Adhere to directives from dear leader, or he will direct his donors to have you out at the next primary. And it's well shown, the bigger the spend on candidates, the more chance of winning.

The US system, as it is now, can really only gradient one way. Trump can't be removed. The beast the Repubs have created is snowballing bigger, and nobody can stop it.

In contrast to ICEman Jonathan Ross, who murdered a woman in cold blood and is going to be allowed to get away with it, and whose GoFundMe is still going strong, TJ Sabula, the Ford worker suspended without pay for calling Trump a paeophile protector, has thanked those who donated and asked people to stop sending money for him and his family and to donate to other charitable causes instead.
My favourite aspect of the whole thing is that Trump responded “f* you” to the Ford worker and gestured with his middle finger - and this is how the Detroit News describes the aftermath:
