What temperature is your house right now?

We're sitting under duvets to give the heating a break!

But what temperature is it IN your house? Surely you don't mean it's 1 degree?! It was 10 degrees in my office at work today (school, just re-opened after the holidays today), took all day to warm up to 18.5.

14 ... and I'm not warm

I got back today after being away, so it’s cold! 14 in my bedroom currently. Slightly warmer downstairs.

I don’t even know how to find that out. The underfloor heating is on in the half of the house that has it. I think the radiators are on in the rest but it’s v cold still! The underfloor heating control say 17 but who knows if that’s actually how warm it is?

DC’s room is 19 right now - think the thermostat downstairs is set to 18. Very nippy here!

honestly, I have no idea what temperature it is but it’s very toasty. The thermostat is set at about 18° but the heating isn’t on so it must be above that. It’s 2° outside and I have no idea how cold it is until I go out there. 🤣

25 plus the fires are on. I’m still in my coat from work.

17 at the moment. Heating came on a little while ago and the thermostat is set to 18 for the evening, might nudge it a bit higher as it's been so cold outside today

21 and it’s toasty warm inside freezing outside.

Got the wood burning stove going - it’s toasty here (snow on the ground outside).

Just adjusted the radiators and upped the thermostat to 21.5 which is in the hallway, which is the coldest part of the house.

That bugger isn’t going off tonight!!

Have also checked the mushroom cams on the windows and put them on “winter mode”.

The heating is on but is struggling to get up to 18.5 degrees (thermostat temp), so I’m lighting the log burner. The boiler, doors and windows are only 5 years old and we have a load of insulation in the loft. Not sure what else we can do to make it more efficient.
Temp outside is currently -1, but feels more like -6.

Inside about 16, outside is -5.

19 it’s pretty ideal but I’m very tired so I’m under a throw to feel extra cosy.

Just turned heating on, it’s been off since this morning. Hampshire and it’s currently -2 outside.

22 everywhere apart from the hallway where it's around 12 at the moment. There is a gap between the front door and the frame so cold air is coming through. I've just pulled the curtain across so hopefully it will start to warm up a bit. Roll on Friday when the LL has promised me it will be sorted.

20.4 although that is in the living room where it is warmest. The bedrooms are a lot cooler but I don't have a thermostat up there, so I'm guessing that it is about 16.

I bought a heated throw for when I'm WFH and it's a game changer.

22 but it was really sunny this afternoon, and we have black floor tiles which heat up in the sun!

We have a major fuck-off power cut - not in the UK - so no heat, no light, no cooking, no warm water, and it‘s -5 outside, down to -7 or so tonight. Our living room is currently at 12 degrees and the house is still cooling down so prob at 9/10 by tomorrow. Power won‘t be back until Thursday. I‘m not thrilled.
