  1. But it's incredibly biased, I can't move and exercise as much as I'd like because I have a disability.

Also suggesting having 'low fat' stuff that's full of sugar and salt rather than healthy fats? Makes zero sense in a healthy diet.

Tillow4ever · 03/01/2026 18:25

8 for me which was a surprise! The fruit and veg was a downfall for me (I’m fussy so I don’t eat much) and I need to improve my sleep… like I have any control over that?!

HomeTutor · 03/01/2026 18:25

I got a bastard fucking 1!!
I dont sleep as my back hurts, I drink far too much, I have white pasta rice and bread, and Im an anxious mess 😂😂

May as well top myself now hey 🙄

PersephonePomegranate · 03/01/2026 18:28

No thanks, I wont be swapping my full fat Greek yoghurt for some low fat muck with with a shit tonne of sweetener in and God knows what else!

Also, it surely depends on the quantities. I literally weigh 100g for my breakfast with fresh fruit - nothing artificial added. If I were getting through a 500ml tub a day, I might accept I need to cut down!

I have full fat yoghurt too and got a 10. But as an fyi the fat free one has no additives just no fat. Plain yoghurt that is.

gryffindor1979 · 03/01/2026 18:41

well that’s shit 🤣 don’t smoke or vape, don’t drink much, eat mostly home cooked food but have quite severe M.E so housebound /bedbound and scored 5 due to lack of exercise which I’m not allowed to do in any case due to this condition 🤦‍♀️

Totally with you

BlueEyedBogWitch · 03/01/2026 19:00

I got 7. Dropped 3 due to poor sleep and anxiety, despite eating well, being teetotal and exercising regularly. Bit harsh.

mindutopia · 03/01/2026 19:16

I’m an 8, probably because I do eat well and I don’t drink or smoke.

That said, I have stage 3 cancer, so that healthy lifestyle certainly isn’t helping me much. 😂

I’m also a social scientist who designs these sorts of questionnaires and this one is particularly poorly designed. I sometimes wonder how these things get out there. I think the goal is to help people think about what lifestyle improvements they could make, which is does. But it’s still badly done!

lasttimer · 03/01/2026 19:17

8 . a surprise!

lljkk · 03/01/2026 19:28

8/10. Recommended more movement & more sleep.
Sleep: I would sleep more if I could. I don't sleep. This is like being told to breathe more. I breathe (or sleep) as much as I my body is wiling to do.

Movement: Turns out that Walking 12 km/day and average 75 "intensity minutes"/day (Garmin watch says), which is what I do, is not enough. Who knew?

JBJ · 03/01/2026 20:35

I got 6. I vape and don’t move enough. I’m also physically disabled, but they never ask about that in these quizzes!

LlynTegid · 03/01/2026 20:38

9

Don't move enough.

GCSEBiostruggles · 03/01/2026 20:43

7 which seems to be because I drink full fat milk and eat full fat cheese. It's a risk I am more than willing to take.

pizzaHeart · 03/01/2026 20:46

6 I don’t smoke and not drink much but it’s movement and sleep.
And I wasn’t asked about biscuits and chocolates I scared to think what my score might be.

9/10

Dropped a point for booze.

Odd that it doesn’t ask you what meds or drugs you’re on.

XenoBitch · 03/01/2026 20:58

1/10 been told to change in all areas.

I got 7. Happy to accept the alcohol criticism but peeved about the diet. I eat 80-90% UPF free. Very rarely get takeaways, would never eat ready made meals, hardly touch red meat, eat loads of seafood and include ground almonds, chia, pumpkin seeds etc in most meals, but they said to improve because I was eating white bread instead of whole meal and not eating porridge or shredded wheat?

Just did it again exactly the same except said I didn’t eat bread and full fat cheese. I eat cheese every few weeks but the rest never, so put cheese in as it asked most often. So now it’s 9. It’s a load of total bollocks.

Fair enough. I also said I drink cows milk and full fat cheese, which might explain why the test got arsey with me 😂 Again, not vast quantities, I have a splash of milk in tea and coffee and weigh my cheese when I eat it (which is not very day!).

Full fat products supposedly keep you filler for longer - I definitely find that's the case.

To be fair, the majority of fat free or low fat natural and Greek style yoghurts dont have anything in them full fat doesn’t.

When I had my 40yo check up the lady doing it was telling me I had to eat marg and sweeteners. They don't keep up with the science behind real food vs UPF at all so I would take it as guidance rather than gospel.

There is also quite a bit of science between full fat milk being better at slow release hydration (football was the sport they tried it on) and the fats in cheese aiding digestion of fatty foods as it sticks to them so you pass more out in fecal matter. There is a reason French people have cheese plates and aren't all fat on diet coke and UPF food like the Americans.
