What's your Christmas day Breakfast?

I am not a breakfast eater so nothing for me.
Everyone else is having smoked salmon bagels or avocado and bacon on toast.
DH is on breakfast duty!

Today was some mini cheese and prosciutto croissants from the local bakery (we ordered 24, there's 2 of us 😂), champagne, the best orange juice I've ever had in my entire life and coffee.

We nearly had poached eggs on muffins with prosciutto and balsamic but poaching eggs was far too hard this morning after much wine last night

I stick with porridge, berries and nuts. Everyone else has had pancakes with berries and chocolate sauce.

Microwave porridge before park run, croissants/butter/jam/prosecco after!

It was a sausage bagel with a baileys matcha hot white chocolate and some gf speculoos sandwich with whipped double cream.

Croissants with best butter and strawberry conserve, washed down with Bucks Fizz.

We had bacon and mushroom butties and a mimosa, the same every year. It was more like lunch this year though as DS was working until the early hours. Will have Christmas dinner this evening.

Homemade sauerkraut.
Porridge with full fat milk.
Homemade sourdough toast with proper butter.

The kids were up earlier than ever today so I was having breakfast by myself as they went back to bed once everything was opened 🤣 bagels with Philadelphia and smoked salmon and a glass of bucks fizz for me!

Bacon and egg muffin with fruit and cinnamon swirls.

Panettone and/or sourdough toast with various jams
