I am not a breakfast eater so nothing for me.
Everyone else is having smoked salmon bagels or avocado and bacon on toast.
DH is on breakfast duty!

Coffee in peace, this the very first year ds has woken after me and I'm feeling very impatient! I have stuff to do! (I'm hosting and am definitely not prepared, just need to wipe down kitchen and set the table but still )

AlexandraJJ · 25/12/2025 08:23

I only eat breakfast 🍳 on holiday.

I don't know yet! We are staying with family and I don't know what the plans for breakfast are. Probably scrambled eggs on toast with home-cooked ham or smoked salmon. Having a nice cup of tea now, and can hear the sounds of other people beginning to stir. My teens probably won't emerge until I go and bother them though!

overmyherd · 25/12/2025 08:27

Chocolate!! And maybe some toast afterwards.

Talkingtomyhouseplants · 25/12/2025 08:27

Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels here at 9am. Maybe some Buck’s Fizz if we fancy it.

I never used to be a brekkie person on Christmas thinking it was better to save room for the main event but in recent years I have concluded that when I don’t eat breakfast I eat way too many of my mum’s nibbles/starter and end up not being that hungry for turkey anyway. This helps it feel more like a normal eating day.

I bake a ham on Christmas Eve so Christmas morning its Croissants with ham and mozzarella.

LunaDeBallona · 25/12/2025 08:29

Coffee then champagne,
The breakfast of Kings,
Used to include a fag too but those days are 12 years behind me now.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

TheDandyLion · 25/12/2025 08:33

Eggy crumpets with bacon and hot sauce.

This sounds excellent!

soccermum10 · 25/12/2025 08:33

Coffee, coffee, coffee 😆🤎☕️ I don't eat breakfast lol Boys will probably have a croissant and chocolate

Mumteedum · 25/12/2025 08:35

My parents used to do kegeree when I was a kid. GROSS 😂

DS wants hash browns with pigs in blankets today ...i regret offering this tbh. The thought of cooking meat this early makes me feel a bit ill! (I don't eat meat)

I will have some smoked salmon and scrambled egg perhaps. Or maybe a poached egg on a muffin.

We usually have pasties but don't fancy it today.

Lampzade · 25/12/2025 08:35

I don’t know how people can stomach breakfast on Christmas Day and then have a full roast in the afternoon
I drink coffee and have a bottle of Snowball ( which I drink once a year and only on Christmas Day)

RampantIvy · 25/12/2025 08:36

Turkish eggs.

GoodVibesHere · 25/12/2025 08:38

Croissants with smoked cheese, and a selection of fruits with yogurt and granola, and several mugs of tea for me.

ScarlettSunset · 25/12/2025 08:39

Croissants and pain au chocolat here.

Chickydoo · 25/12/2025 08:43

Bloody Marys at 11.00

PrincessHoneysuckle · 25/12/2025 08:44

I ate the smoked salmon yesterday so it's full English or bacon butties

Hedjwitch · 25/12/2025 08:46

Croissant and coffee

Lindy2 · 25/12/2025 08:46

Most of my household is still asleep at the moment but I've left out croissants, cream cheese and salami for those that will want breakfast.

We're having the roast turkey at around 1pm so I might skip breakfast ready for a big plateful of lunch later on.

Gasbox · 25/12/2025 10:24

Ferrero Rocher, obviously, it's Christmas!!

Heyhelga · 25/12/2025 10:24

We had scrambled eggs on toast.

Tryingatleast · 25/12/2025 10:25

Cornflakes with hot milk then the end of the garlic bread from last night followed by a homemade mini brownie from last night. I apologise for nothing!!!

kenadams5 · 25/12/2025 10:26

Nothing. Saving myself. 😂

AgnesMcDoo · 25/12/2025 10:33
