I don’t know what I’m doing!

DH is going to collect DS’ main present. DS knows so may or may not be going with. That means I’ll have DD8 and DD6mo. I know I’ll be doing some housework but apart from that no idea. What are you doing?☺️

I’m at work, then the food shop is being delivered this evening. We’re having chilli for tea which I’ve just put in the slow cooker now. Not a particularly Christmassy day but hopefully an easy one.

Working!! It’s going to be manic and I have a 9 hour shift ahead of me (retail)

Working (from home). Gym class at lunchtime.

Debating whether to buy last minute replacement artificial Christmas tree later, as the real one I bought was too big so am currently tree-less which is a bit sad.

Just come back from Tesco with the final bits we needed, coffee with a friend this morning then over to some neighbour friends for drinks this evening.

DD is going out with some old work friends and I will be on standby to pick her up so I won't be drinking. I shall probably clean the oven this afternoon and do some washing.

I’m going to watch Matilda at the theatre with my sister.

Working 5:30 until 2pm then home put a wash load on and then walk dog then asda for xmas food shop at 7pm

Working until lunchtime when I finish until 2nd Jan, then M&S for ‘nice bits’ of Christmas food with DD (I know!) then yoga, then maybe some late night shopping, I could really do with a top for Christmas Day.

I got the dentist- need a filling. Going to eat salad for tea in the hope i am not tempted to gave a chocolate platter instead 🙄 home alone so might start my 1000 piece Jane Austen jigsaw. Rock and roll.

Was up at 5 and have been to M&S, Sainsbury’s and now quick cup of tea before going to the farm shop to collect the meats.
Changing the beds, wrapping, washing and then watching It’s a Wonderful Life later with a glass of Baileys.

What is the main present? I want to know 😂

Mostly baking related stuff for me today. Set the dining table (we’re hosting tomorrow). Take some stuff out of the freezer.

Food shop and presents all done, so it’s just a case of double checking everything.

Potentially might need to go out and get some butter, but we’ll see.

I always have this dreadful feeling that I’ve forgotten something…

Dropped DD to work for 7. I'm having a cuppa in a service station while I wait for Tesco to open at 8. When I'm done shopping, I need to clear out the fridge, to make room for the new stuff. I've a couple of presents to wrap and I've to drop one of them into my neighbour. I'll unload the dishwasher and give the kitchen a quick clean. I've a big pile of recycling stuff in the utility room - I need to chuck it all in the recylcling bin. Dd's boyfriend is coming over later, so we'll have dinner together and exchange presents.

Working (from home) and most likely answering texts from DH who is doing the food run.
DD (18) is going with him.

Working until lunchtime. Cheese collection and wine delivery this afternoon. Wrapping!

One last check of the Sainsbury's order for tomorrow. (Working until 4 tomorrow)
Maybe pub for tea, undecided 🤔

Last day of work before Christmas 🎄

Im going to B&Q to buy one roll of "funky" wallpaper (think exotic birds) and im going to hang it behind the toilet cistern.

Cue massive eye rolling from DP 🙄 as I'm always up to something, I like a little project.

Adult DD says my house looks like it's been decorated by a 14 yr old girl 😁

I do feel sorry for all the people, mainly women, running themselves ragged to make Christmas happen, been there, done that, never want to do it again!

Every bloody day until Monday when I get one off.
DD arrives tomorrow night for 2 days

Going to work in an hour which will be for between 3 & 6 hours. Then off for about 2 weeks so I'll probably have a Bailey's later to celebrate 🥳. Not much else planned, maybe a walk later & more wrapping

Just read the receipt email for this morning’s big food shop delivery: by the look of some of the substitutions I’ll be driving around trying to pick up missing items. Wish me luck out there.

Currently sat in bed with a cuppa. DH is working today but WFH and is quiet so he's probably going to go out and pick up the turkey from the butchers. I'm going to the gym, helping DS 13 make a cheesecake, cleaning and that's it everything else is done.

I’ve already been to Tesco and Aldi and wrapped some presents.

Now, I’m sat watching Miracle on 34th Street with a coffee.

Nothing else planned today.
