Oh gosh you are very talented. I have made a cake for the very first time (christmas one) and I plan to mine like my gran did with royal icing swooshed to look like artex with varying plastic reindeers and santas of improbable proportions. I have been feeding it for weeks now and it smells divine.

Fabulous! I loved my mothers, who passed away over ten years ago. Nothing will match it. Sadly no pics.

And this is this year's penguin cake! Design chosen as a nod to a young adult guest who has recently entered the RAF. Learner driver Rudolf Rein-penguin crashes into a plane in the sky causing the sleigh and plane to hurtle to the ground.

It’s another absolute stunner, so inventive! Love the pretzel antlers ❤️

Ds11 has made the penguins for ours and my marzipan is drying.

Thank you! DH and I have so much fun planning and making them! They're most certainly quite amateur (we've learnt lots of tricks over the years - our snowy topped, snowball bottomed design is chosen for a reason and hides a lot!).

having seen these i am too embarrassed to post mine. It is a typical snowscene with a few plastic decs on top. v reminiscent of my childhood .
