It's time 🎵🎶 well nearly, 2 hours and change until it drops. It should be 10.30.
Its my favourite time of year but as usual I will probably be useless and depend heavily on mumsnetters for help to decipher.

I searched and couldn't find another thread if there's one already up and running ill delete this.

Edited for proper link

I think you are missing one on the woman - she is two clues.

Exactly this happened to me! Try clicking through "next"... that's how I found the 20th clue 😊

You’re missing the woman’s arm and potentially the board games you haven’t mentioned them

RobinTheCavewoman · 15/11/2025 16:44

Nearly there but the tree with clocks and the painting with the river on it have me stumped!

The tree belongs to Minnie. It’s Minnie’s Tree. Say it fast!

with the river where is it?

I’m stuck on the calendar (and the clues so far don’t help me), the pyjamas, the holiday books and the ketchups.

Calendar - what are the collective names for what times are ticked? You’re looking for a three word answer.

Pyjamas - what colour are they and who is wearing them

Ketchups - ketchup is also called red what? That word sounds like another English word if you have a southern accent. Then what do computer programmers write?

Can’t think of a better clue tor the holiday books but I’m sure someone will be along shortly. I had to google as I’d never heard of it.

Thank you so much! I tried that answer when I had clicked onto her body (which also showed her arm) and as the answer was ‘no’ dropped that idea - I hadn’t realised her arm was a separate click! I can relax now, thank you.

I know what colour pyjamas she’s wearing but can’t get a title.
I know the word I’m looking for which is like the other word for ketchup but I can’t get a book with it.
Still don’t understand what the collective noun is that are ticked.
Thanks for your help though.

Do you remember the film Men in Black? Well, she’s not that, but what is she?

Pyjamas are not important, she could be wearing a wedding dress or cricket kit, she has matured since you were focused on her arm so she is now a what in what?

Ketchup could also be called ........ And what you you need to do to get a computer to follow your instructions.

The holiday books cover the four seasons, which added together make what? This time period is the possession of a person who is going to use it not for high octane thrills and adventures but the very opposite. 6 word title I had to Google as I hadn't heard of the book.

The calendar is what you might call the times ticked on all seven days of the week and what you might call the two days that are ticked twice

The laptop answer is a homophone for the other word for ketchup and the word for instructions to a computer.

The parts of the calendar ticked are not mornings or afternoons they are later than that.
They are not the working week but the two other days.

Nope. I’m about to give up. I know the word it means instead of ketchup and how to run a computer, but can’t find a book title that works here. And still haven’t the faintest idea for the calendar or books! And I’m so bored of trying words and orders!

Is there a list of clues as I can only find 19 and I've definitely got the board games?

WSim · 15/11/2025 21:27

Ok forget that, found it, phew.

If it is any consolation none of them were books I'd ever heard of. I took clues from here and searched what I assumed were key words in bookshop web site to track them down.

It's a play on words (think of homophones). Whose tree is it? It's.....

Plus the clocks clue

I didn't know it was a book. It's also the name of an (unrelated) film.

The book is an autobiography from this year (that I hadn't heard of).

There were a few books in this that I hadn't heard of.

And some that were annoying (to me!) sound-alike clues - when I got them I just thought "Oh, FFS!"
