Am wondering what the Little Treats actually involve?

OP posts:

Same experience here but my offer has now disappeared! (The teabag one). Anyone else?

They do expire.

SnowFrogJelly · 28/03/2026 16:45

Yes my scones disappeared! I do have teabags waiting apparently

They do expire.

I thought they changed on 1st of each month?

LamentableShoes · 28/03/2026 17:05

The available treats reset on 1st of each month, but when each one is triggered by you spending the £x, you get the voucher instantly with only about two weeks to redeem it from that date.

It's not great!

pinkperm · 28/03/2026 17:16

Vouchers usually last 2 weeks. That includes both Little Treats and the personalised money off vouchers.

stayathomegardener · 28/03/2026 21:21

I have been avoiding their sugary shit treats since I ate the whole pack of crumpets.

The tulips last week were definitely a treat and still blooming.

I think the personalised money off vouchers change every week

Mine are every 2 weeks. Interesting.

What's the £250 treat this month? I am quite close to it and wondering whether to make a trip to get it.

PickAChew · 29/03/2026 08:53

Tulips.

The first one I've not bothered with.

I never remember to look at the app as the vouchers are so faffy, I keep most of my loyalty cards in my apple wallet so they can be scanned if there’s no signal in shops but you do miss out on offers. Will take a look now,

I have the signal problem in my local Waitrose. So you choose and download the vouchers before you go in to the shop and then they don't have the chosen product in stock. It's a really shit loyalty scheme, I'm sorry to say. Why can't the vouchers be added automatically to your card and only applied if the item is purchased.

That said, I got some Little Treat crumpets last month and I believe there is a pack of scones awaiting me.

Thanks @PickAChew

@Beaton234 I've got in the habit of checking the app as I walk across the car park now but it is annoying if the vouchers you have chosen are out of stock, I can usually get some signal close to the door to change it. Using scan&go on the app is very hit and miss though.

You can activate them at any time, you don’t have to do it just before you shop. You can do it at home. When you activate them doesn’t have any bearing on when they expire, they expire automatically 2 weeks after issue whether activated or not.

Waitrose also removed the restriction on how many vouchers you can pick, so you should be able to activate them all?

marmitegirl01 · 29/03/2026 14:32

Had some nice things. Just eaten one of the scones. My issue is not being able to open the vouchers when in store. I knew it was a Belvoir drink, but couldn’t open app in store so couldn’t check which one. At the till I had one that wasn’t in offer. I didn’t want to go back to get the right one as was long queue behind me. So I missed out. I contacted customer service and they dismissed me not being able to open app to check vouchers as my problem not theirs. Bit annoying.

EverythingIsComputer · 29/03/2026 14:37

Scones…that they were out of stock of

Yes I know but I don’t tend to remember till I get to the shop. I hadn’t realised they had removed the two voucher restriction, I only ever seem to have 2 or 3 now and often don’t want the particular items apart from the treats

holidaymay · 29/03/2026 15:25

I’ve just had free Tulips do £250 spend. I’ve been buying the £1 daffodil bunches do the last few weeks so they tulips are a nice change.

is there a littletreat thy comes after £250? Nothing showing on my app.

EnchantingDecoration · 29/03/2026 15:26

£250 is the last one. I bought daffodils on Friday so I will save the tulip voucher for next week

fussychica · 29/03/2026 16:09

Had the scones and the teabags but won't make the £250 treat this month after a splurge in M&S simply food instead.
As an aside, I haven't had to buy anything to qualify for free cream eggs and hot cross buns in Morrisons. Available simply because I have a More card. I'll take that!

Solitario · 02/04/2026 14:03

The first LT for April (£50 spend) is £1.50 off your next shop. Not very inspiring or treat-like but better than nothing!

Our tulips - the last LT from March - are lovely. Very fresh and a nice deep red colour.

Happy Easter everyone. Looking forward to eating some Waitrose hot cross buns here!

Thanks. Not exactly inspiring. Usually the first treat is worth over £2 so £1.50 is a bit meh.

Pericombobulations · 02/04/2026 14:22

To be honest I prefer money off as sometimes the treat has been nothing anyone in the house likes.

Tryagain26 · 02/04/2026 15:25

I had a pack of scones last week and this week I have been offered a pack of tea bags

reluctantbrit · 02/04/2026 15:26

The second treat is a free GU chilled dessert. That is highly appreciated.

Thanks. I don’t like those so I’m not too enthused to shop at Waitrose this month.
