You can have 1 type of pick n mix, what are you getting?
I’m starting with white chocolate mice (I love cheap chocolate!)

I know them as chocolate chewing nuts but not sure if that’s the real name

I called them monkey nuts

Chocolate limes, sherbet pips or maybe toffee pennies… I can’t decide

Anything sour like fuzzy cola bottles or that lemon sherbet crystal stuff I used to get bags of

Oh lemonade powder? The bag would go soggy and disintegrate from constant dipping 😂

TaterTots68 · 03/11/2025 00:17

Oh, those little teacake things. I'm not even sure what they were but they sold them in Maynard's and they were lovely

SquareBreathing · 03/11/2025 00:21

Peanut brittle please. No, I’ve changed my mind. Rhubarb and custard. 🙂

Flying Saucers

VeganStar · 03/11/2025 10:49

Pre vegan/coeliac I would have asked for coconut mushrooms and pontefract cakes but now it’s flying saucers which I often buy from Iceland food warehouse along with sour dummies.

ABC letters. The chalky ones

I was gutted they stopped making these! Picked up the new style ones a couple of weeks ago assuming they’d taste the same and that it was just a different shape… nope. They taste like soap now.

Tillow4ever · 03/11/2025 11:28

gandeysflipflop · 02/11/2025 18:56

Omg I used to love them as a kid. our retro sweet shop doesn't stock them, can you still get them and are they the same?

I'll have some floral gums and cherry lips.

Apparently the machine kept breaking so they changed the design of the letters… and have since changed the recipe too.

NinePoppadomsAndASaagAloo · 03/11/2025 12:40

How has nobody mentioned:

FLUMPS?

but I’ll take a bag of sherbet if possible please. Or some flumps. Or some fruit salads. Or failing all that some blackjacks. Thanks!

or cherry lips. So hard to decide!

Aw what a disappointment. I was quite excited when someone mentioned them and was about to go on a hunt for some, Don't think il bother now. They were great in the 80s every Saturday my mum would buy me a quarters worth from our local indoor market sweet stall.

gandeysflipflop · 03/11/2025 13:42
