The complete Epstein files won't be released during SCROTUS' term. And may never be released at all unless very, very heavily redacted (to the point of being useless) depending on who's in them and who's 'in power'. I have a feeling that there are more than just a few extremely powerful men/people (and those in their sphere) who stand to lose quite a bit if their names come to light, and not just GOP politicians. And who are willing to do or pay whatever it takes to stop the release of those files.

One of the problems with society is that the Golden Rule has become 'Those with the gold, rule'. It's disgusting, it's disheartening, but I'm afraid it's just the way it is. And probably has been for ages, it's just more out in the open these days.

Oh where is 'Deep Throat' 2.0 when we need him/her.

It's in plain sight just like Jimmy Savile. Everyone knows it.

At the time of the last presidental election, I couldn't understand why any Latino would vote for Trump. Looks like some of them've wised up now.

"Hispanic voters abandoned Republicans and the “Trump 2028” wars are next." (JVL - Bulwark)

1. Hispanic Voters Big Mad
The single most important data point last night was the Hispanic vote. Union City, New Jersey, was my bellwether here because it’s a heavily Hispanic town (81.6 percent Hispanic) that swung toward Trump for two consecutive elections:
Trump vote share, 2016: 19 percent
Trump vote share, 2020: 28 percent
Trump vote share, 2024: 41 percent
How did Republican Jack Ciattarelli do in Union City?

answr: He lost by 70 points.

I would like the man, formerly known as Prince Andrew, to say that he will answer questions on Epstein when Trump does. He's in shit anyway, so let's hope for an act of redemption.
...I know, it's never going to happen. Imagine the US backlash against the UK.

Apparently real. Is it just on paper though? Maybe they're trying it for size?

I saw the footage of sandwich guy, it was ridiculous to have got to this stage. And for the ICE thug to say he felt it even with a bulletproof vest on was hahahaha. You'd feel it as much as you feel a fly landing on you, if at all !

Maybe it's so if he escapes his keepers goes for a walk to gaze at the construction of his bigly new ballroom (to compensate for his tiny balls) he'll be able to find his way back dammit.

It is real and is temporary according to the Independent. They think an indication of where lettering should be for the permanent sign. Maybe the response will makes them think again. And if you are labelling that I presume the other rooms need a nice gold label.

One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children.

Erm, off button available even in the backward UK. (And other channels are offered, I believe)

You mean the BBC don't have wall to wall Trump adoration and propaganda? Who'd have thought it.

SerendipityJane · 08/11/2025 15:38

It's looking like SCOTUS will have no choice to scrap Trumps tariffs. The DOJ case was a car crash from start to finish - who thought it was a good idea to actually include a quote from DJT in the brief that effectively makes the case for the plaintiffs ? On more amusingly how will it all turn out not to be DJTs fault ?

Serpentstooth · 08/11/2025 16:01

Well now, there's a coincidence WH Press Secretary. Many of us in the UK feel exactly the same about Fox News and what passes for other 'news' broadcasters in USA. Nothing but lies about the Bigliest, Bestest most Stupendously Wonderful President Ever. Lies, lies and more lies about the criminal, fraudulent grifter and sex offender you're proud to defend. 'Only following orders' is not a defence. You should keep that in mind.
