I've just started watching Luther from the beginning.
It's 15 years old 😱
So good and Idris Elba is so hot

Anything you'd like to rewatch?
I'd love to binge on GoT all the way through, but I've tried several times and then get confused 😆

Slow Horses is just brilliant.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 30/10/2025 13:50

Try The Affair - Ruth Wilson, who plays Alice in Luther, and Dominic West

So good 🙌 with two sexy men 😍

ComfortFoodCafe · 30/10/2025 13:50

Rewatching ashes to ashes. Gene hunt 😋

probably will rewatch stranger things afterwards.

@Starlight1984 sadly not it’s repetitive and goes around in circles

Ah gutted! I haven't started it yet purely because I didn't want to be disappointed as the first series was so good!

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 30/10/2025 14:01

I still did enjoy it for what it’s worth @Starlight1984I really did but when it came to the end I had to acknowledge it was flawed. Definitely still watch it.

idrinkandiknowthings · 30/10/2025 14:02

The Blacklist on Amazon Prime, purely because James Spader is in it. He's obviously a lot older, losing his hair and put weight on but he's still hot. I'm on s2 of 10. 10 bloody seasons!! That's a lot of Spader 😋

Also on s2 of Alice In Borderland and From, with my teen.

The Line/Un Village Francais on ITVX.
It’s a historical drama set during the Vichy period and it’s so so good.
Very believable and engaging characters with plausible dilemmas. It’s in French with subtitles.

I’ve just finished that on French catch-up. I love Robin Renucci but really don’t like Audrey Fleuriot!

OnlyFrench · 30/10/2025 14:07

Enjoyed The Hostage on Netflix, such a change to not have something dragged out over too many episodes

DisplayPurposesOnly · 30/10/2025 14:35

Looking forward to Edge of Darkness (1985 TV series) being rerun on BBC4 from Saturday.

BertieBotts · 30/10/2025 15:13

I started rewatching Fringe after I found it on ITVx and first I noticed how incredibly dated the whole "3D letters floating in the drone shot of the city" is Grin but also how good of a show it still is. Absolutely having the time of my life :D and it's been so long I've forgotten most of what happens too.

BertieBotts · 30/10/2025 15:17

Also recently did Life on Mars and am almost at the end of Ashes to Ashes.

It's weird that the scenes from 2006 don't feel as dated as I expected them to. I suppose more changed in the 80s/90s than has changed in the last 20 years at least in terms of what is relevant to the programme.

magicstar1 · 30/10/2025 15:40

I'm rewatching Desperate Housewives right now. I haven't seen it since it was on nearly 20 years ago, and I'm really enjoying it.

kellygoeswest · 30/10/2025 15:48

Just finished Gen V season 2, which was really good, love the cast.

Also considering starting The Witcher when I get home from work tonight!

SeaAndStars · 30/10/2025 15:52

I've just watched Ashes to Ashes for the first time. The opening scenes where the 'Bolly' goes back in time took me back so brilliantly to the era.

CatHairEveryWhereNow · 30/10/2025 16:06

Alice In Borderland - I just watched series three.

Just as had guests so re-watched The residence - about fifth time and think that's enough for a while though still made me laugh.

Half way through re-watching live action one peice but debating whether to start watching the cartoon series. Also waiting for second series of The Apothecary Diaries to drop.

I should be stopping apple TV soon so don't have time to rewatch severance again though had done Murder bot twice.

Despite having paramount DH recording Strange new worlds from TV so re-watching that - also periodically Agatha Christie's Poirot is worth a random re-watch whate ever episodes on or downloadable.

CatHairEveryWhereNow · 30/10/2025 16:07

DD2 discovered vampire diaries on Netflicks and is working her way though that.

JabbaDaButt · 30/10/2025 16:09

My DD wants me to rewatch Killing Eve with her.
We love it!

"Life Begins" on Netflix from about 2004.

It started off well though every single character is intensely dislikable.

I'm on series 3 now and it's all gone a bit comedy caper.

I've gone from vaguely disliking the meaning woman - Maggie - to absolutely despising her, and wishing she'd set herself some higher standards in life.

Wonderknicks · 30/10/2025 13:49

Slow Horses is just brilliant.

This

MissyB1 · 30/10/2025 16:14

Just finished Wayward on Netflix, brilliant! It’s something a bit different.

And we love All creatures great and small on channel 5.

JacknDiane · 30/10/2025 16:14

Big little lies is brilliant too

Catpiece · 30/10/2025 16:19

Just rewatched Apple Tree Yard on Disney plus (I think). Loved it the first time round x

StElwicksNeighbourhoodAssociation · 30/10/2025 16:21

I finally got around to seeing Mad Men earlier this year. It was superb. Now binging Big Little Lies.

We've been watching things we missed the first time around because we were young and went out a lot! Recently we've watched Inspector Morse, Endeavour and Lewis - have to say we preferred Endeavour really.
We're currently watching A Touch of Frost - enjoying that!
We watched At Home With the Braithwaites - loved it!
We also recently watched Clocking Off, The Syndicate, The Street, Last Tango in Halifax, and Moving On - thoroughly enjoyed all of those, so if anybody has any ideas for things that are similar, please let us know :)

Hardacres is newish but the same sort of vibe. It's channel 5
