I go to yoga classes. My DS does kickboxing for cardio and he wants to loose weight. My DD just uses her uni gym. What do you do?

I absolutely hate sports, all sports, so I don't do any and I haven't been to a gym since 1999.

I walk a lot though. I walk to work, I'm on my feet at work, and there's a lot of heavy lifting.
Don't drive so I walk everywhere. I usually do about ten miles a day.

How can anyone hate all sports? Odd.

Walks every day, yoga class once a week, reformer pirates once a fortnight ish, its ad hoc. I do a 20 minute online workout every day that's usually dance or some sort of fun movement. Basically anything that doesn't build visible muscle, I don't like how my body looks muscly. I exercise to keep fit and to have fun so if it's not fun, it ain't done. Also have 5 kids under 10 so I only have from 9-2 to do everything and I'm not wasting a minute on anything that makes me miserable

Gym classes - mornings or evenings depending on shifts at work. Mixture of pilates, rowing, step, barre, conditioning, spin. I don't drive so walk 15 mins each way to and from gym. I walk for 30 mins first thing on weekday mornings. Meet You At The Barre online classes, try to fit in a couple of these each week. I need to build in regular weight training as I only do a little now and then. Considering starting to run.

are meet you at the Barre classes free? Any equipment needed?

1 Pilates session face to face
1 Strength training session on Zoom
Dogwalks of roughly 1 hour every day.
I’m happy with my fitness but not my fatness which no amount of exercise will alter.
Since menopause, I’ve developed a very sweet tooth and a huge lack of self-discipline….

@Netcurtainnelly I don’t like sports! Don’t like playing them, don’t like watching them. I love doing exercise though!

I also do yoga for my weekly exercise, and it’s been amazing for both flexibility and stress relief. I try to mix in a few cardio sessions too, but yoga really keeps me grounded and focused. If you’re looking for a great place to start or switch things up, I recommend checking out some yoga classes in Dubai—the instructors are excellent, and the environment makes it easy to stay consistent and motivated.
