How have you been after it?

I had mine tea time yesterday. I found it very difficult to get to sleep last night and then woke up in the early morning with diarrhoea and have been aching and feel off since.

I get it every year and don’t normally feel like this.

I’ve actually done better than previous years. Tired, felt a bit nauseous this morning but nothing as bad as before. Hope you’re soon feeling better.

Kuretake · 17/10/2025 13:07

No ill effects for me - I've never reacted to it luckily.

jay55 · 17/10/2025 13:08

I had a cough when I had it so could have been going down with something anyway but have felt rough as all week, insomnia and stomach issues too. Had it on Saturday.

Oddly, I was OK immediately afterwards but about a week later I had a day or so of feeling as if I was coming down with something - aching all over, sore throat - but day after I was fine. I don't know if it was connected.

Dandelionsand4leafclover · 17/10/2025 13:10

No ill effects for me so far. I had it on Tuesday.

Silvertulips · 17/10/2025 13:10

My arm didn’t even ache!

No reaction at all.

Lottapianos · 17/10/2025 13:12

Slight arm ache and slight chills the next day. All good after that

TheCrenchinglyMcQuaffenBrothers · 17/10/2025 13:18

I’ve been having it for years as I have asthma, and I’ve never had any reaction whatsoever. Except this time - had to crawl in to bed by the afternoon, was so whacked and headachey. Was totally fine the next morning though 🤷‍♀️. DH exactly the same, he also never usually gets any reaction. Weird.

falalalalaaaaaaaa · 17/10/2025 13:18

I had my flu and Covid shots at the same time and was just wiped and a bit achy the next day, but no stomach stuff. Could you be coming down with a bug maybe?

Arcticsway · 17/10/2025 13:19

I had mine a fortnight ago, I had no side effects at all.

Einszwei · 17/10/2025 13:20

Had it a couple of weeks ago - no reaction at all.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 17/10/2025 13:25

I had flu in one arm, Covid in the other, was a bit wary, but no problem.

Justputsomeyoghurtonit · 17/10/2025 13:26

Thumping headache 24hrs later. But could be a coincidence. I've never had side effects from the flu jab. Oh a sore arm!

Mouthfulofquiz · 17/10/2025 13:27

Had mine in work - feel fine no side effects and have carried on as normal

TeaRoseTallulah · 17/10/2025 13:27

Bit achey and tired, only lasted 12 hours.

givemushypeasachance · 17/10/2025 13:32

Bit of a sore arm but nothing of particular note.

My sister had hers last week, then came down with a horrible virus cold thing with fevers and all sorts that knocked her out for 4-5 days. But she's a doctor and has freely said it's just a coincidence, you can't catch flu from the flu jab! More likely it was from her 4yo's germy reception class where most of the kids have been ill.

Wishimaywishimight · 17/10/2025 13:32

I had both the flu and covid jabs on wednesday, no after effects other than slightly sore arms!

Holymotherforkingshirtballs · 17/10/2025 13:35

Absolutely fine. Me and my colleague both said it's the best we've felt after it.

StrongerFitter · 17/10/2025 13:36

No side effects at all other than arm being very slightly sore if I lay on it. Ran 10 mile race the next day

Comeonbabylightmyfire · 17/10/2025 13:37

Absolutely fine.

icebearforpresident · 17/10/2025 13:40

I Had mine on Sunday evening. Was fine on Monday and during the day on Tuesday but by about 6pm felt slightly achy and freezing cold. Went for a shower which helped the aches but I couldn’t warm up all night. I also felt exhausted, went to bed at 9pm when I’m usually up until midnight. My husband said I was shivering for a good while after he came to bed but I slept well and woke up feeling absolutely fine.

Usually I have no issues with my flu jag but I can’t think why else I would have been like that on Tuesday.

ResusciAnnie · 17/10/2025 13:43

No issues at all. Went for a run immediately after leaving my jab, work afterwards, business as usual luckily for me.

MrsSkylerWhite · 17/10/2025 13:47

No. Thanks for reminding me!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/10/2025 13:47

Absolutely fine. I’ve never reacted to any of them though.

Hollyhobbi · 17/10/2025 13:48

Yes a few weeks ago. No bother at all and I have numerous health issues.
